The next day when Ryan woke, Helton gave him a vial of float. He drank it and his dulled glassy eyes, were now blue as the sea. Colour returned to his pale white skin. He vomited, he felt great.
"Now all we need is a healer"
Ryan said and immediately, Atta remembered her dream.
"There is a village that way"
Atta said pointing in the direction of here she saw the old woman.
They and walked in that direction and though Atta had never been there, she felt like she had. The path was exactly like it was in her dream, she was a little freaked out.
When they were about to arrive at where she saw the alter in her dream, she stopped.
"What's wrong? "
Helton asked and Atta turned and looked at them. She continued walking, her heart kept beating faster with every step. Then she got there there was no alter, her heart slowly crawled down her throat, back to her chest.
Meanwhile, Hollow Witch was at the Eternity hospital looking for Pencil. She moved from room to room, then finally she found her. Pencil looked at her as she walked in, she was captivated by her look.
Her long black hair was diluted by gray ones. It made her hair look ash, Pencil sat up when she got closer.
"Mayday, it's nice to see you"
Hollow Witch looked at her and say the confusion on her face.
"Sorry, you have the wrong person"
Pencil said.
"I was a friend of your mother, I knew you when you were little."
Hollow Witch said and handed her the picture.
"This is your mother, this is me and our two friends. My name is Holie.... Holie Wolowitz"
Hollow Witch said and introduced herself.
"I need your help, you see your mother was a Cardinal Witch. I need a Cardinal Witch to help me cast a spell. I know you just met me and you have no reason to help me but I need your help. "
"I know nothing about magic and I don't remember my mother. She left when I was young, being her friend won't do you any favours."
Pencil said and turned her back.
"By the way your mum didn't leave you, she was taken away from you."
Hollow Witch said and headed for the door.
"What do you mean?"
Pencil asked as she turned and faced her.
"A witche named Claire, hunted your parents. Your father was an outsider, the whole town frowned on their union. He was a researcher he was fascinated by magic. He did magic of his own, he called it science. Back then the men of Isis did not practice magic. They were all adventurers, they practically did not leave in the town. Your father was the only male, he went to peoples homes to learn magic.
One day a Witch accused your father of rape. There was a trial and he was found guilty but you mother helped him escape. Claire argued his child should be executed in his place. Your mother ran away with you.
No one has seen her till this day."
Hollow Witch said and turned.
" Do you know where my dad is? "
Pencil asked and looked at Hollow Witch. She did not blink, Hollow Witch sighed.
" No but I can help you find him if you help me"
Hollow Witch said to Pencil, who nodded at her.
Meanwhile, Ryan and the other found a village deep in the forest. They asked for a healer and one is provided. He had been in pain ever since he took the drug.
He was not use to pain, because he felt nothing most of the time. The healer used healing magic on him but it did not work. It has no effect on him, it did not heal him, neither did it hurt him.
Strangely enough the herbs the healer had some effect. When they saw that the healer wrapped Ryan in leaves. She wrapped him like a caterpillar in a cocoon. He stayed inside resting.
Later that day Shoto was discharged, he was free to go anywhere, but he followed Lilium home.
"You know when I said you can leave, I didn't mean with me. I thought you have family to get to. You were practically, swimming out of the hospital."
Lilium said to Shoto.
They were in a fully furnished room, with lamps on at the corners of the room. Lilium turned on the light by hitting a switch. Shoto looked at the bulb the moment the light came on.
" It's like lightning in a bottle"
Shoto said looking at the bulb. Shoto grabbed lilium's hands and she pulls away.
"What's wrong"
Shoto asked following her.
"Nothing,.. I am... just.."
Lilium said stammering.
" I'm sorry, when you said I reminded you of your husband... I thought..."
"No... it's not that..."
"I'll leave,"
Shoto said and walked towards the door but Lilium grabbed his hand.
"You don't have to go, you can stay"
Lilium said and offered Shoto a seat. Shoto went in the direction she pointed. He sat down in a couch and Lilium brought him a drink.
"Can I get you a shirt? "
Lilium asked Shoto who was half naked. He ran his hand through his red hair and shook his head.
"I'll put on a shirt if you want"
Shoto said and took a sip of his drink.
"uum.. , what is this. It's like nothing I've tasted before.
Shoto said looking at it in the glass.
" It's a drink Eternity is making"
Lilium said and topped up Shoto's drink.
Shoto drank all in one gulp and extended his arms for another.
"Calm down, it may taste sweet but it's still alcohol."
Lilium warned him.
"Tell me about yourself, any other fire dragon in the picture?"
Lilium asked as she collected his glass and put it down.
Meanwhile, Burke was examining a skin sample he took from Ryan.
"What the hell did you do to me, I said I wanted to be strong, and you turned me into a monster."
Ju said the moment he entered the lab.
"Jupita, calm down. You are fine, you are strong. I saw your fight and you were amazing."
Burke said to Ju.
"Amazing, I nearly killed someone. I couldn't control myself. I want to be my normal self."
Ju said and Burke nodded. Ju got closer to him and he sat him in a recliner. He then took a scalpel and slit Ju's throat. He held Ju down on the recliner, he removed his hands from his neck, so he could bleed out. Ju started to transform, he stepped back and Ju got up holding his neck.
He formed transmutational circle and created a sword, which he thrust into Ju. The transformation stopped and Ju fell knocking over some apparatus.
