As the three ganged up on Codin he got angry. He grew two times bigger and his eyes turned into literal flames. Being two twice bigger, his clothes were tight on him, with tear around the edges of his clothes.
It did not make a difference to the three, they fought like nothing had changed. Ryan noticed a bulge in Codin's now ripped shorts.
Not long after he noticed, the bulge burnt a hole through his pant.
Suddenly it lit up, like a fuse. At first there it was a little flame and it grew bigger. In a short time, it had developed into what looked like a tail made of flames. Some how the flames tried to stay in perfect shape of a bunny tail.
Suddenly things changed, the one sided beat down was not longer that.
Tic threw a punch and Codin caught it, he spun and elbowed him in the face. Toe jumped with a flying kick which Codin evaded. Toe ended up kicking Tic and swiftly Codin grabbed him by the cheek, through the mouth with two fingers. He pull hard downward sending Toe head first into the ground.
Tac threw some jabs which, Codin blocked with his arms over his face. A long knee was aimed at Tac's stomach but he stepped back.
Codin quickly followed up, his flame tail burned hard, it propelled him towards Tac. He mimicked flying, achieving his goal of kneeing Tac in the stomach.
"Guys... I think I'll... take care of this"
The three of them said starting with Tac and ended with Toe.
Tic walked towards Tac dusting himself off. Toe walked towards Tac also, keeping his eyes on Codin in. Tic just got close and was absorbed by Tac. Toe got close for the same thing to happen to him. Tac grew bigger, as about the same size as Codin.
He threw a series of punches, and Codin evaded each on but he was still hurt. The wind the accompanied the punches cut every time he had evaded. He stood there looking at them, the now merged three.
The slashing on Codin face and body caught fire. It burnt-out, healing the wound. The moment his wounds were healed he changed at them again.
Ryan and the others were amazed, they had been fighting for hours and they have not broken a sweat.
From the moment Codin grew the flame tail, Ryan could not keep up with the fight. All he saw were footprints in the sand, which the occasional breeze from their fight blew away.
They grabbed Codin by the neck and slammed him into the ground. With their knuckles they pressed on his Adam's apple. Codin rolled over, when he was on top he tried to gouge out their eyes. Using his index and middle fingers, he pushed each in the socket of the eyes. They closed their eyes still having their hand around his neck.
Codin had hooked his fingers into the sockets. All he had to do was pull out their eye balls. Two extra hands existed one body, it punched Codin in the sides. Focusing under the ribs, then an extra leg kicked him of them.
"I said I'll take care of this, I don't need your help. "
Tac said and all the limbs went back into his body. They ran and grabbed Codin by the arms. They started to pull, until they ripped his arms off his shoulders. Codin stepped back and fell on his knees. The fire in his eyes died out, they were all black as before. His flame tail was also gone, what remained was a white cotton tail like that of a bunny.
A huge flame engulfed him, and when the flame died out, he was gone.
" Thanks for saving us"
Atta said, and Helton thanked him again. Ryan did not say a word, he just looked at him. They dropped Codin's arms.
"We are Credulous"
They said as they extended their hand towards Ryan. He look at their hand and walked right pass him. The others followed him, Helton called his ring as they were going.
They were leaving when Ryan and Credulous bracelets turned green.
"Credulous"
They all turned around and saw familiar faces. It was Cone, Precious and Olive.
"Apparently, you guys are fighting for second and third place. I can't believe you lost to the Chāoyuè guy."
Cone said as looking at Credulous.
"Wait, if he wins (pointing a Ryan) he win fight Chāoyuè làngcháo for first place."
Helton said with some glimmer in his eyes.
Cone, Precious and Olive laughed.
"You really think he can defeat Credulous Brim"
Cone said and laughed some more.
"Chāoyuè làngcháo defeated him, why can't he?"
Helton said to Cone who was letting out some remaining laughs in him.
" Credulous trained from a young age endlessly until he reached his peak. He was as strong as he could be, he trained for months but there was no improvement. He traveled across territories looking for a way to gain strength. He was willing to try anything, in fact he did try anything. He wanted a strength he could call his own, he nearly gave up because all he could find were hacks.
Drugs and unnatural enhancements was all the was left, until he went to Urg.. "
"Urg... No one goes to Urg. Urg finds you"
Helton said interrupting Cone.
"Who is Urg?"
Ryan and Atta asked each facing them.
"it is not a who, it is a where. It is a mysterious place where anything can be achieved. It only comes to people who have a singular focus for impossible task. It is my dream to go there before I depart. "
Helton said to satisfy their curiosity.
"Yes, that's where Credulous, learnt to split. His other selves can train to their peaks. And when they merge they then exceed the peak. Now he split every time a new tear reaches it peak."
"Sorry, I just love telling the story"
Cone said when he saw the look on Credulous' face.
