Ryan and Lawhey made their way to Brim the next day. This time they spoke to a different woman. She told them they needed at least three people to create a guild. Ryan went to the request board, there were thousands of requests and level requirements needed to accept requests. As he was glancing through the requests, he saw an unusual request. This request requirements were low, it said No grade badge and license required. Ryan took the flier to get the details, it said employees were being treated in less humane conditions and a witness is needed to make a case.
Ryan saw it and the lawyer in him woke, a witness that's as easy as it gets, Ryan thought to himself. Since the quest didn't require a badge and license, it meant someone posted the request without the guilds knowledge. The were coordinates, on where to meet if the request was accepted. Ryan decided to go with Lawhey, thinking two witnesses will make a better case.
They went to the meetings place at night, the exact time that was stated on the flier. Some one was waiting in the shadows for them, the person ran the moment they came. The chased the shadow to an apartment block, Lawhey unsheathed a sword he was holding. A masked woman was standing in front of an opened door,
"He stays", she said pointing at Lawhey
Ryan nodded and she stepped aside letting him into the room. The door closed behind them, Lawhey felt like he was being watched. He was in the hallway with doors at both sides, he stood facing the door Ryan disappeared into. He kept his sword unsheath as he waited for Ryan.
There were two chairs facing each other, the masked woman sat in the one facing the door. Ryan sat in front of her.
"Since you are here I'll assume you have accepted the quest.", the woman said.
"The guild master of Brim Authority Applease has been abusing his workers for years, but all reports are nullified before reaching Brim central. Two years ago, an employee of Brim Central came to Applease and delivered a report to central. Central demanded evidence of the abuse, so I befriend an authority guard who helped gather evidence but a year ago he was murdered. I lost the evidence and the witnesses, if I can't get the prove, central will discard the report and assume it's a lie. If that happens the report will become a rumor and it won't be taken seriously. "
" I hear you, but how do I know are not trying to eliminate the guild master for your personal gain? ", Ryan said to make sure he was on the right side.
" I am trying to eliminate him for my gain but it's the right thing to do ", replied the masked woman.
" Why do you care about what happens to some employees, Ryan asked.
"Because I'm one of them", she said removing her mask.
