As they were talking Shoto walked out and no one noticed, he had a lot on his mind and needed time to himself. The female dragon he fought has shuttered his confidence and the thought of not being the last of his kind was getting to him but he was at a cross road and though Row and the guys were like family they weren't his actual family. They couldn't understand him the way his kind would.
"She was able to retract the scales, it was all over her body.", he said as he walked into his room.
He has had his scales on from birth and didn't know taking the scales off was possible. He imagined the scales of and getting his skin wet. He could hardly feel will the scales on, it decreased the sensitivity in his skin but seeing the black dragon had opened new possibilities. He closed his eyes and and swung his arms to the side in effort to make his scales disappear. He tried again but this time Kemi saw him.
"Are you dancing?"
"No?, you still don't know and you are in your human form so there's no excuse."
Shoto replied putting his arms quickly by his side.
"I'm not judging, some people talk to themselves in the mirror others dance to no music"
"What do you want?"
"I heard you found me, did you see her or she was gone before you got there?"
"I saw her, even tried to bring her in but she was strong and well trained, I couldn't do anything."
"Don't be hard on yourself even I couldn't do anything"
"Yes, even you", Shoto said sarcastically.
"What I don't get is why I didn't sniff her miles away, I don't think it's a dragon thing because I can smell from my room."
"Kemi, go analyze your battle somewhere else, I'm going to bed", Shoto said whiles he pushed on Kemi's chest leading him toward the door.
"You're seriously going to bed by this time the moon is still red", Kemi said as he walked backwards towards the door.
As Kemi passed by Pencils door was opened and she was fast asleep, she had been working on the murk for hours and was tired.
He passed by Gina's room and her door was also opened she was getting ready to go to bed, she had finished taking her bath and she was wrapped in a towel. Out of curiosity Kemi stood in the hallway watching her but she caught a glimpse of him and instantly her dor was closed.
Row was in his office working, they were all closing shop but Kemi didn't want to go to bed just yet and usually he and Gina were the last ones up but for some reason she had decided to punch out early.
Kemi decided to go on a late run.
