Nestres pointed in Befehlnadir's general direction, causing the rocks to go barreling towards Befehlnadir. They whistled into position before promptly bursting into fragments.
Ventelu's grassy chains snapped open from the sheer force. The peeking boulders shattered to make an almost perfectly flat surface beneath Befehlnadir's feet.
Once the destruction settled, both royals stared down at where Befehlnadir stood. As expected, he stood firmly against the demolition, but his skin became riddled with holes and shards of rocks lodged within.
Yet he didn't care. Befehlnadir shrugged off the damage and pressed onward. After making sure he looked in Nestres' direction, he stomped his foot down.
Causing one of the smaller rocks to come flying off the ground before being kicked into hyper-speed. A jade arrow shattered the projectile.
"Damn Strident Archer..." Befehlnadir growled.
He turned to look above, where the confident rider circled his prey. Ventelu stared back, one arm drawn back to empower the arrow.
Several more blasts echoed around Befehlnadir, throwing him off his balance and onto one knee. Followed by an arrow that pierced his neck.
Loose skin grew between his wrist and his ankles, followed by a small keratin eye-covers. Befehlnadir jumped high over the ground and began to glide over his side of the Sister Fields.
Ventelu released several more energized arrows. They whistled through the open air, bending and turning to hit the flying Feral.
Befehlnadir dove, causing the arrows to mimic him. He landed on his knees before quickly jumping up again the same second the arrows exploded.
Sending him higher than he could before. He narrowed his gaze onto the Strident Archer, almost ignoring Nestres existed.
Which nearly backfired after Nestres caused a large pillar to erupt out of the ground. The same effect appeared on the other Sister Field, except Befehlnadir couldn't see it. He crashed against it, but quickly began scaling the side to regain his momentum.
Ventelu pulled Trez away from the pillar, knowing Befehlnadir would use it to jump up to them. Until they heard a deafening eruption.
Trez completely froze from the sheer strength, while Ventelu forced one eye open. Everything seemed out of focus and numb, he didn't even realize Befehlnadir had picked him off Trez's back.
Nestres watched from afar as Befehlnadir hurled his pre-Noble against the pillar, then promptly drove a knee powerful enough to break straight through it.
He quickly traced more sigils against his staff. A downward diamond, shattered star, eclipsed moon hovered against the rough metallic body. Once they were traced, Trez sparked back to life.
She took aim right at Hitirus, who was repeatedly battering and bloodying Ventelu with whatever he could get his hands on. He grabbed a sharpened pebble before driving it into Ventelur's stomach.
Ventelu screamed in agony as Befehlnadir dragged it across his belly until his insides quickly showed themselves. Befehlnadir screamed as well, but his was of mockery.
Trez dove onto his back, snapping away at his hair and loose skin. Only to hear another deafening eruption.
Her body froze for a second before quickly returning to full strength. However one second was enough time to let Befehlnadir jump off the ground wit hher on his back.
The Sky Beast screeched and growled, unable to regain control. Befehlnadir slammed her against the side of a bolder. He quickly ran up to her head, then he howled winds powerful enough to snap her neck.
"Your pet isn't too kind to strangers," Befehlnadir chuckled. He turned to face Ventelu. "Tummy ache?"
Ventelu gritted his teeth. The wind grew stronger, going from a light breeze to hurricane levels of destruction.
Befehlnadir jumped into the air. His skin unfurled, effectively giving him one-way flight.
He soared through the sky just as Nestres did. The duo figured out ways to harm each other. Sometimes they hurled rocks at where the other would be. When they didn't, they'd throw another type of projectile.
An overwhelming heat mixed itself into the already humid air, causing Nestres to slow down. Befehlnadir exploited this by pouncing right on him.
He felt pressure as Befehlnadir continued to pummel the side of his face. Opening cuts around the cheek and eyebrow.
Nestres forced a boulder to erupt out of the ground behind them, blocking the wind. Befehlnadir quickly lost height, prompting him to drag Nestres against the terrain instead.
"You seem unbothered by my hits! You are tough and your attacks do sting, but that isn't enough. Rise, Nestres. Let us finish this out like warriors!" Befehlnadir ordered.
And Nestres agreed. He quickly shot up to his feet, then charged at Befehlnadir. A straight out-sped Befehlnadir's reaction time, allowing it to land perfectly against his chin.
Nestres kneed Befehlnadir, causing the tryant to lean forward. He promptly mounted his back, then got to work on striking away at Befehlnadir's head.
In response, Befehlnadir fell onto his back, then he quickly rose to his feet. But by the time he was up, Nestres already stood in front of him with a jab flying right at his ribs. The hit connected, shattering two.
Nestres quickly connected several punches together. Striking Befehlnadir sixteen times in just forty seconds.
Befehlnadir backed off, chuckling painfully as he did so. "You hit fast, and hard. A tough bastard!"
"You're just durable, creature. Nothing strong about you." Nestres fired back. He cocked his head to the left. "Now get out of here before I drag you out of here."
The Sister Fields quickly faded, returning the duo back in front of King Khantetakhim's home. Her eyes widened with shock as she watched Befehlnadir disappear into a white beam.
Nestres turned around to face Ventelu. The young archer groaned in pain as his wounds mended.
"You did a fine job today, Ventelu. Now get up and ask King Khantretakhim for a fresh set of clothes, a bath, and some food," Nestres ordered.
Ventelu nodded before walking up the stairs and asking King Khantretakhim for what he needed.
Nestres' eyes panned up and down the street, looking for a way to make his conversation with the King less awkward.
