Ketra stomped her foot, releasing small earthquakes in her wake. The movements disrupted Hylo's flow, resulting in Ketra getting a clean jab in.
The blow landed on Hylo's armored stomach, yet it still felt like getting struck by a Cemtras. It was sickening pain, but Hylo knew better than to show any emotion.
She dodged to the side, understanding her normal tactics weren't going to be useful. Her eyes locked on Ketra, not letting the Feral out of her gaze.
Moonlight bounced off her thick, black skin as she came in like a vicious shadow. Like always, she aimed to push Hylo back. Except each hit was dodged.
Well timed dashes, backflips, and cartwheels helped keep Hylo safe from danger. Until she ducked beneath a rogue shield.
"My student becomes my enemy... how does that work?" Fruzzy introduced herself. "Looks like you're the Dream Chaser now. Ketra, put her down."
It didn't take a second request for the Feral to charge at her again. Hylo struggled to keep eyes locked on her main attacker, considering she had to deal with Fruzzy, too.
One of Fruzzy's spears took flight, careening across the field. It planted itself into the ground, where Hylo dodged. Causing her to hit herself beside it, and get a kick to the jaw from Ketra.
Seeing the opportunity, Fruzzy dashed closer. Raising her shield before she bashed it across Hylo's face. Sending the young Zawed whistling through the field.
Until a flash erupted out of no where, resulting in her sudden halt. Hylo looked by her side to see Ether's enraged glare. It was like seeing the eyes of an ancient deity waiting to cast judgment.
"Hylo, be the Dream Chaser and bring the fight straight into Fruzzy's brain. I'll gut Ketra," his voice twisted with a type of rage Hylo never heard.
Flames ignited his entire body, coming alive after being dormant within his skin. Ether stood out like a piece of charcoal outside after a snowstorm hit.
Ketra took aim at the even shiny-er pre-Noble. Then she charged, blindly releasing earthquakes with each stomp.
She drew her arm back, ready to strike at Ether. And he did the same. Their knuckles clashed, releasing a shockwave powerful enough to uproot large mounds of grass.
Hylo siezed the opportunity and charged through the chaos towards Fruzzy. Who watched from afar, entertained.
Before the Tide Turner could react, Hylo devoured her consciousness and entered her dream world. In there, Fruzzy found herself confused and entrapped.
Unlike Ketra, Fruzzy had complex thoughts and greater neural activity than a bulldozer. Resulting in Hylo's Noble Mind status to work on her.
"Huh? o - oh. Ahem... Fruzzy -"
Upon hearing her name, the tested warrior looked up to see Hylo's silhouette looking down at her. The sheer size difference demotivated the warrior, yet her determination to fight until it was impossible to pick up a weapon still remained true.
"You aim to kill me tonight? Then come face me!"
Fruzzy's eyes widened as the battle pits that birthed her shaped around her. The mighty wooden barricades towered over her, while the smell of blood rung in the air.
Across from her, Hylo stood. Both females remained naked, ready to endure punishment from the other. And as one, they ran for each other.
While they fought, Ether and Ketra traded blows. Unlike his opponent, Ether was still in pristine condition.
Each time Ketra injured him, he'd heal the wound with purified flames.
Ether remained airborne, avoiding the earthquakes and easily flying past Ketra's discouraging roars. He waited for the Feral to tire out, while coming down for strikes against her.
Ketra caught Ether's fist in her jaws, resulting in her clamping down at full force. Fingers, wrist, and knuckles crunched and broke through the sheer pressure.
"O - okay... I - I'll do it, then!" Ether' tried to control his voice to show no pain.
Regardless of what Ether would do to her, she wasn't going to relent. Even if she had burn marks, cuts, and bruises all over.
It was the same thing that made her dangerous. Even if Ketra was no smarter than a sixty-year-old Yonie, she was among the smartest Rampant Ferals out there.
Simply because she could form sentences.
Ether dug his other thumb into her eye, twisting it and scooping it out. Yet it still didn't bother Ketra, but it did open an execution.
When Ketra opened her motu hto bite at the other hand, Ether caused Tellendor to erupt out of his chest. The weapon sliced straight through her brain, seemingly killing her.
But it only brought her to her final stand. She collapsed onto all four, then a radiant white blinded everyone within a hundred-mile radius.
Knowing this meant the end to this life, Ether turned to face his daughter. Only to see Fruzzy standing over her battered body.
Everything about her looked disfigured and heavily beaten. Showing what happens when somebody tried to match against the Tide Turner.
"She wasn't that bad for a rookie," Fruzzy commented, ignoring the imminent blast.
"Well, neither of us will survive getting demolished down to a cellular level. Just know I'll target you next time I see you," Ether warned her.
Fruzzy laughed. "Truly is sad this dome won't allow anybody to leave. Goodbye, Sol Eater."
After her last words, Ketra detonated. A massive mushroom cloud covered Coshire from grass lands to coast. Debris flew across Yarno and some made it to Imbushko.
Marking Ether's and Fruzzy's death. And a tie for their first encounter as enemies.
Nestres used his sigils to protect every pre-Noble bowing to him. Yet everyone else passed away in their sleep. Not being lucky enough to have the ability to sense Ketra's death like Nestres.
Even King Khantretakhim died. Same with her Noble Minds, except for Gatruda. They existed beyond Koroth, only ever coming by as a visitor.
With their survival, marked King Khantretakhim's and the other Noble Minds' manifestation process. Where theyll remain until Nestres cleans up Coshire.
