Clouds poured in from the horizon, threatening Hymo with an incoming storm. Workers and warriors hurried through their busy streets, collecting their children and running back home.
Unknowingly giving the incoming attackers an advantage. Hitirus sat idle in his platform overlooking the rest of the mountain. Carelessly waiting for the storm to approach.
The overhead rocks and boulders that protected the upper parts of the city sheltered them all from anything coming directly from above. Making Hymo's heart the ideal resting place for those rich enough.
As the clouds continued to loom closer, Hitirus noticed something strange about them. Thousands of Sky Beasts, Siege Weavers, and Unuwkus emerged from the gray bodies.
Instantly, Hitirus turned to the homes behind him and bellowed. "GET READY FOR WAR!"
One of Demon's servants, the Iron Maiden, watched from afar. She spectated from a safe distance, just like her master ordered her to. Where Hitirus went, she followed.
Leading her deeper into the mountain, she heard his shifting voice cry out for all warriors to ready themselves. News which quickly spread to the lower parts of the mountain.
A quarter of the Infinus/Volatile forces stormed towards the foot of Hymo. Ready to start dominating their way up to the head.
Fire arrows rained from above, setting roofs on fire and sending warriors into a panic as they desperately put armor together. Blazing bolts struck unfortunate victims as they howled in fear.
Clouds shattered into bits as Weavers danced closer to the ground. Their bright blue and orange bodies seemed nearly nightmarish as they twisted and turned.
Infinus forces made landfall. Archers remained on roofs and rained fury from above while the rest rushed the streets.
Children cried as they watched masked warriors from foreign forces bash their parents and yell at them to run inside nearby buildings until it was safe. They helplessly watched, falling into a surreal trance.
Despite them getting caught in the middle of the attack, everyone ignored them. Infinus held a strict rule of never harming any children that were incapable of fighting.
Volatile beasts stood at a safe distance, claiming territory as they circled above. Riders fired bolts and explosives at incoming defenses, keeping their domination of the area.
The first elites landed, ordering their warriors around and suggesting to hold down zones so nobody could fight back.
Sernatacus growled as arrows whizzed by, driving themselves into whatever stood in their paths. His broad frame glowed orange as the town around him burned.
"Get ready to push further up the mountain!" his raspy voice ordered nearby warriors. "Protect all homes hiding Variants inside, don't let them die or escape."
Archers jumped from rooftop to rooftop, rapidly gaining on the front lines. Siege Weavers crackled above, forcing the hairs on the backs of their necks to raise from all the static.
Like lightning bolts, they slammed themselves onto the ground. Consuming whatever and whoever stood beneath them. Unlike the attacking Variants, these beasts were ruthless.
Warriors towards the front of the siege screamed in a panic, alerting those behind them of a serious threat. Cemtrin howled in an enraged-like state, tearing the entire town apart.
Conqueror Sky Beasts emerged from the higher portions of Hymo, descending to protect their home. Their beasts dawned the iconic purple background with a red splat of paint on banners.
Jakery ducked and dodged incoming attacks, he glanced over his shoulder for the nearest warrior. "You're going to take it from here!"
A lightning strike encased Jakery in a bright flash of cyan, allowing him to let go of the beast and fight on his on. He darted across the open sky, raw electricity powering his entire body.
He clashed against an enemy Sky Beast, instantly killing it and everyone on board. The energy surged through with enough strength to make all victims completely disappear.
Ether watched from afar, secretly admiring how different Jakery became after earning his first official kill against a Cemtras. Deep down, he was proud of it.
Tellendor hummed within Ether's core. "Shora, supercharge yourself. Let a Pyroatic Weaver consume you and feel yourself get stronger."
Arrows careened past his beast, one struck the warrior beside him. The only archer in the ground struggled to line shots perfectly since the beast was moving around everywhere.
Four flyers, two Unuwkus and two Sky Beasts, emerged to combat their Sky Beast. Ether guided them straight up, then he let go. Falling past his warriors with a serious stare in his eyes.
Now armed, Tellendor burned bright as it pierced the first Unuwku's neck with a clean slash. As the explosion went into effect, Ether spun around to collect the heat.
Using it, he launched it to a passing Sky Beast. Setting it and the rider on fire. They screeched and screamed in a panic as temperatures reached lethality.
Quills darted towards Ether, slowly gaining hit as it approached one of the hottest things above the main conflict. By the time they nearly reached Ether, he had complete control over them.
Allowing him to redirect each quill to the Unuwku who fired them. They whistled across the skies, homing right onto the attacker and exploding on impact.
Before Ether could fix himself, the last Sky Beast found the courage to strike. Driving a blunt axe straight to Ether's helmet, staggering him while denting the forehead slightly.
He began to free fall, losing a grip on himself as gravity hijacked his brain. Which sent Lya into full-gear, letting her take complete control of Ether while he recovered.
She forced wings to grow from his back, burning in a blaze only an Infinus member could own. With it, she flew Ether straight through an incoming Pyroatic Weaver right before he hit the ground.
A rooftop collapsed on itself as the falling Zesher crashed right through it like a boulder, even feeling like one. Ether emerged from the debris, completely unharmed.
Everything attached to his body burned a bright pink, notifying everyone Ether was almost in his hottest point. He looked through his pink hair, which confused him.
"Why is my -"
"Shora, you look beautiful with your pink hair. I'll explain when this ordeal is over, get back out there and fight," Lya interrupted.
Ether instantly regained his mental footing, then ran out the door. Volatile warriors ran up the street, keeping the pressure going as they handled the reinforcements.
That's when a strange elite emerged from the bunch, glaring right at Ether. "After so long, we're back across from one another. The one who stole MY city and turned my people against me!"
"Danitour..?" Ether muttered.
"Yeah, that's me. Now with no restrictions, I'll sit you down and prove to you you're nothing more than a disrespectful and ungrateful piece of Stram shit!" Danitour howled in anger.
