Demon drifted a naked index finger across the dark ground, leaving behind grey streaks. He used this like a pencil, sketching what he learned and what he achieved.
"Well, my friends," Demon wrote one last sentence. "We have learned what we needed to learn about all sides of the conflict, now we just need to witness what happens next."
The butler was motionless, almost like a stiffened corpse. It did not react to anything anyone said. Although there was an odd feeling of sorrow in his core.
Something about putting others in dangers for the benefit of a strategic being did not sit right with him, but he didn't understand why. And he probably will never understand, he was not allowed to.
"All of them are submissive and bend to the words of others... except for a few," Demon tapped his finger on a list of names. "Roughly half of Infinus' elites are stating war is not the answer here."
Neither of his puppets read the names, they couldn't even read. They just listened, waiting for their next instructions.
However, the most notable names on the list were: Tinzor, Decka, and Krim. Followed by roughly six other elites. Most of which had some involvement in the Infinus - Light war.
Demon sketched arrows beside Decka and Tinzor's names, he was aware they were powerful and capable of influencing the rest of the Legion's judgement.
With them in his grasp, he could lure out the most obedient and powerful Variants inside Infinus. He wanted to find out who they were so he could start his own little Legion.
One where they bowed to a stronger force and fought at its behest regardless of the danger. The thought of being surrounded by those forces made him giddy.
He then jotted down names of all elites aiming for war against Yarno. Which included Enoptes, Sernatacus, Pearl, Jakery, Valentine, and Suth.
Each of these names had the strength to take Volatile and Ubitwa on and beat them. However, Conqueror was their ultimate test.
That's when Demon wrote 'Hitirus' with a short plan on a different part of the floor. This plan would help bring Hitirus out of his duty and put him in line for Demon's use.
"I am excited to see just how loyal this one is," Demon grinned. "My maid and butler, Hitirus holds an interesting history. His name is an order, so can I give him a command and he carries it out?"
Curiosity sprouted from that. He wondered if Hitirus' paranormal ability to remain alive after so much could resist against other, truly paranormal creations.
Such as the Nine and the Servants that guard them. Could he, if all goes well, resist their Will and shatter them? Could Hitirus be the key Demon needed to find in order to break himself free?
All of these questions drove Demon to plan ahead. He was eager to work with Hitirus, possibly even mold him into the perfect tool. That way, he could stand beside Demon's personal army and strike the Nine down.
"There's an issue..." Demon paused. "Hitirus seems too focused on achieving this goal of his. His home Legion ordered him to slaughter the heir to this continent's throne, and claim Centinents as his."
Before he could think of a solution to this problem, he realized there was another problem. Volatile's and Ubitwa's leaders see Hitirus as a major threat. And it is their job to keep Hitirus away from the outside world.
Like trying to contain a surging storm from devastating an entire region. Demon imagined just how powerful Hitirus truly was if he was feared that much.
Maybe strong enough to strike down the goliaths such as Eldigo, Hiranako, and Namsaninus. If Hitirus could achieve such a feat, the Nine would undoubtably pay more attention to them.
However, Demon did not want to get too excited at the idea. These were still sketches, unsure if he could even pull them off yet. But he still had hope. After all, Hitirus could be a bonus.
The real warriors chosen to lead the fight against the Nine were none other than his siblings. In due time, he could build them to be powerful and mighty.
Someday, they would kill Demon one last time. Setting him free from his chains. Letting him rest after being put in torment by another Distorted then brought back as a meaningless being.
Lastly, Demon wrote down the names of the neutral elites. Which included only a handful. Such as Ether and Orako.
And for a good reason. Ether told Orako about Full Forward, how nice the place was and how peaceful Niro was. Yet Orako still remained neutral, he did not want to pick sides.
"For this entire saga to go downhill, we first need to reach the top. And I know how," Demon opened his palm. "We will let time fly for a bit. This little break out had caused a stir in both regions."
He looked through his palm, watching over Full Forward and their Variants calling for action against the offending Infinus forces. They wanted their leaders to do something about it.
Which was taking its toll on Niro, she did not know how to handle this situation peacefully. Despite Valiant's offer to take it from here, she wanted to try. In hopes of achieving peace on both ends.
But lives were being lost. Imbushko and Yarno blood spilled over the cold fields of Yarno. Hope for a better outcome was running low, exactly what Demon wanted.
The end goal was to force the Trilogy into a war, which would result in their own downfall. Leaving several powerful figures ripe for the picking. One of which was Hitirus.
Demon turned to the Iron Butler. "Stalk Yarno for a while, me and the Iron Maiden will keep our eyes on Imbushko until the time is right. But for now, we are not operating. Just looking."
Before the butler departed, Demon added. "Actually... forget that. Prepare yourselves, we are going to the Distorted Mind. We need to take care of something."
