-In Hymo's war room-
Hitirus silently traversed the city streets, avoiding detection altogether. No one realized the green haired Thawed female was it stumbling through the crowded paths.
She stopped at the foot of some stairs, eyeing the careless guards who leaned against the sides of the door. They continued to chat, mindless of the spectator. Until the spectator dashed up to them.
"You two seem tired, maybe run the gauntlet?" an unforgiving voice thundered.
Both guards jumped in shock as they realized who exactly this Thawed was, Hitirus. They instantly froze in fear, wishing the walls opened up to consume them.
"I am going to remember the signature on both of your plates, when I am done here you two will be punished. However, there are bigger threats out there. You two decide your punishment this time."
"Th - thank you... ma'am..?" one of the guards struggled to speak.
Hitirus scoffed, ignoring their fear. She marched into the room, fists closed just in case anyone was slacking.
When her eyes adjusted to the lighting, everything was going to plan. She sighed, letting out some anger from her heart.
More Variants noted her arrival and instantly assumed correctly. They instantly fixed up the minor mistakes they were making in order to please their sole leader.
In the middle of the room, there was a massive structure with ten cells hanging around the main piece. A giant crystal stood in the middle of the entire structure, letting out powerful surges of unknowable energy.
White, sometimes black, sparks of restless energy that divided the rules of physics gave power to the ten cells. Inside each cell was one Thawed - an Oracle.
Through the Oracles and the crystal, Volatile, Conqueror, and Ubitwa were capable of communicating with ease. It was why Hitirus was there today.
"Niro?" she asked a nearby worker.
He nodded, stepping aside to get out of her path. It was one of the few things the Legion knew could relieve some of the built up anger and stress in the confused creation's heart.
"Mmm... Niro never calls for us unless it is something 'urgent' or a meeting," Hitirus turned to face the same worker from earlier. "What was her message?"
"Olavin-Faa is under threat of a possible siege, some of your Feral packs have been slaughtered and the neighboring mega-families are digging as fast as possible to get out of there," he replied.
"Tsk," Hitirus chuckled. "They took it personally, eh? Activate the crystal, I am going to inform them of my next step."
The worker instantly took off sprinting to a control area towards the far back of the war room. Inside of this control room, other workers checked over and studied the Oracles. Making sure their condition was work-ready.
Until they heard the door swing open and a panting Zegus trying to catch his breathe before speaking again. They looked into his eyes and saw the creeping panic of taking too long.
It didn't take them another thought for them to automatically understand what was happening. Hitirus was there, and she wanted something.
Like clockwork, the workers instantly gave instructed the Oracles through intercoms integrated into the mostly metal desk. Each Oracle heard it, and promptly focused their power.
Workers covered their eyes, some even stumbled back at the sudden roar and flash of bright white light. Except for Hitirus, she kept her slowly transforming eyes towards it.
A black stripe extended from one side of the crystal to the other, notifying Hitirus it was ready. She stepped forward, closer to the roaring energy.
"Niro and Valiant, do not send forces to Olavin-Faa. If there are any left, bring them out before I get there. This 'siege' will be over soon."
-In the Yarno/Imbushko border-
Several Storm Chasers dashed through the skies. Setting it ablaze as a symphony of might and determination barreled to aid their allies.
More elites and warriors of all types boarded this time. Some beasts kept two Stram wrapped in their talons to transport them over.
One of the elites, Jakery, shielded his visor with his forearm while he flew through the clouds. Loud winds made it difficult for him to think, but he managed to utter one thing over it.
'This is not a war, this is an all-out invasion.'
It was true, the news arrived quicker than expected. Courtesy of Hazen's Third Rule and the sudden shift in tone she felt in the minds of everyone in Imbushko.
She discussed what they needed, and made the entire event happen. Everything was in place for Olavin-Faa Breach, the first strike the rebels got for victory.
While they flew, Hazen was deep in her thoughts. Ignoring everything happening around her as she spoke to Pearl from a distance. Through Pearl, she learned of Hara.
Setting up the full cast of the conflict.
Despite the reinforcements, Infinus did not send out their very best. They wanted it to be their last resort, just in case all else went wrong.
"Jakery," a warrior said while stretching her bowstring. "Are you mentally here?"
The sudden mention of his name made him jump. He glanced over at her, trying to see who it was. But he did not recognize her.
"Yes, what happened?"
She held out a closed fist. "Remember Onum Fall?"
It was many years ago, but Jakery still remembered it. He smiled at the memory, the fun he had while riding around on a Sky Beast and his partner's skill.
"Okay. How about your partner?" she said, trying to hide her excitement.
Jakery shook his head, admitting he forgot who it was. All that he remembered was she had a bow, and was really good at her fast-flying fights.
"Well, glad to see you at least still remember our little adventure. I'm Mrita, and we're repeating the same thing we did about thirty years ago! Woo, time flies," Mrita laughed.
"Oh, hey! This won't be like last time, though. Hope your archery is better now," Jakery joked.
Mrita nodded. "Ey, don't worry about that. To Yarno!"
Jakery laughed. "To Yarno!!"
