To their surprise and anger, they saw Ling Yi raising her hand as if to slap against Luna, who was staring coldly at her, brave and unafraid. She had stood tall like an unbending tree amidst the strong winds, which were the harsh words thrown in her direction.
Noah's friends were instantly intrigued by her, but before they could step out and unleash their anger, the petite girl following them had dashed out first, taking the opportunity to save the damsel in distress.
Noah was glad upon seeing her safe and sound, but the anger in his eyes burst like a dam the instant he saw the scrape against Luna's beautiful hands. He instantly saw red as he set his sights upon Ling Yi who was on the ground, shaken from fear. Her body trembled like a kite without strings, facing the windstorm heading her way.
" The Ling family is certainly getting more... brazen."
came Adam's voice from behind. The sentence stopped Noah in his tracks. A devilish smirk emerged from his face. He gave a side glance to Ling Yi as he turned his body towards his friends.
"Yeah... let's see. Next week?"
Ling Yi nearly wetted herself.
As for the other students there, they were all currently trembling, though subtly.
They all knew what Adam meant.
The Ling family is probably going to face a major crisis, possibly a fatal one, before next week.
Ling Yi crumbled. Tears flowed freely like tap water from her eyes. She begged desperately, "Young Masters! Please accept my apology! This isn't fair! You should have seen it, it was Luna! She dare to claim that she was one of you, and offending her means offending you! She took your kindness for granted, Young Masters!" Ling Yi still insisted on pushing the blame to Luna. She had even shifted her position into an alluring one, while her face turned pitifully adorable and attractive.
Camellia sneered. This vixen...
Noah's lips curled up impeceptibly, coldly.
He turned to Ling Yi. He did not disguise the pure disgust and mockery he felt for this girl in front of him.
Emmanuel shook his head. Ling Yi should be grateful that she was a girl and they're all trained gentlemen, otherwise Noah wouldn't be so light handed towards her.....
" I consented Luna to." said Noah.
"W...what?!" said Ling Yi, shocked.
Her heart was in turmoil.
The Young Masters....
"She was always my friend, and my friend were also a friend of my brothers. In fact, I would practically beg for Luna to even acknowledge she was one of us. " He turned to look at Luna, his eyes filled with immense gentleness and warmth. Any other girl facing such an intense gaze would practically have their legs melted to nothing but jelly, even Camellia's heart trembled at Noah's gaze, though in her heart she knew it was not directed to her. When had Noah had such patience and gentleness for anyone else?
His inquiring gaze prompted his friends to also look at Luna the same way, as if all simultaneously asking, "Will you be one of us?"
Luna was speechless.
Before long, he turned to Ling Yi, and spat out his cold words,
"Quit or get expelled."
Any rich socialites who was kicked out of Imperial Hibiscus knew that it would forever be a stubborn stain in their life. It was a different case from Noah, who quit for good reasons.
Ling Yi trembled harder.
"No...no! Young master Noah, I beg you! Please!"
" I shouldn't be the one you're apologizing to."
Automatically, Luna stepped out, lowered her head, stared at Ling Yi and turned. Such provocation was such a large blow to Ling Yi, whose mental state at the moment was severely imbalanced.
What Ling Yi didn't notice were Luna's hands dropping a small blade besides her. But the Young Masters noticed, of course.
Ling Yi was seeing red.
A tiny, unnoticeable flash erupted from Luna's back pockets.
When Ling Yi saw the blade, she, almost without hesitation, took it and rushed at full speed like a mad buffalo towards Luna. In her mind, it was all Luna. It was all this newbie's fault! All of it! Her perfect life was ruined the moment Luna stepped into it! She did not pause to see the brightness of her future diminish, turning it bleak and dark.
The blade was headed to a fatal position on Luna's body - her heart.
Noah was ready to block Luna with his hand, while the others was shrieking with fear, closing their eyes, not wanting to witness the gory scene they were sure they'll witness.
Rafael, all ready to strike Ling Yi before she evem came close, who was closest to Luna at the moment failed to notice anything amiss from the girl in front of him.
No one at this moment noticed the weird, sharp glint flashing beneath the right side of the glasses and the warmth erupting from Luna's left side of the glasses.
Her hand powered her smartphone off,as she turned around, her hand releasing three super small silver needle directed towards different points at Ling Yi's body.
Nobody saw this coming.
Ling Yi's sprinting figure halted, before she fell to the ground sharply. Luna placed her hand before her forehead, and laying her on the ground gently. She flipped Ling Yi over. She collected her needles again as fast as lightning that everyone could only see the blur of her hand. They had not even seen the needles at it was super thin and small.
Ling Yi had fainted. Luna turned and stared at the two boys standing at the sides, pointing her fingers towards Ling Yi's body before pointing towards the direction to the school's clinic. She brushed the invisible dust on her hand before strutting towards the stunned Noah. She handed him her smartphone, currently playing the scene where Ling Yi was sprinting towards her. She then wrote on the blackboard, "Evidence." in beautiful, cursive handwriting.
She headed towards the girls' bathroom, leaving the spectators in the classroom gaping.
"What... just happened?" Came a meek voice.
This was the same question currently echoing inside everybody's mind.
Camellia was first to wake up from her stupor. She brandished her fist high up in the air, " Yeah! That's my Luna! Sis, sis, wait for me! Are you looking for disciples? Sis Lunaaaa~" she sprinted after Luna.
Everyone: 'Is this really the feisty princess? How could she be so shameless?'
