Around 600 bc,mauryan empire is dominating over india,and its wealth is on its peak during the rule of bindusara ,he was one of the most successful ruler of mauryan empire. Copper coins were used for trade at that time . He was the disciple of the astrologist chanakya who wrote arthashastra and the mauryan empire has been established because of him .bindusara had three wives and from his third wife 'dharma' ashoka was born .he was too efficient and intelligent and his signs of becoming a great ruler in future are shown from a very little age ,.ashoka was the favourite of bindusara among all his sons .when bindusara died then ashoka became the ruler .he completed his dream of the whole under a single flag of mauryan empire succesful .he was also known as'devnam priya' .he fought many wars and never lost any of them but in the kalinga after observing all the losses .hevowed that he will.
