A lot was going on in my head at that moment. But soon I found Mirae coming towards me telling me to return back saying that she also wanted to join us. Now I felt really stuck. I had no choice but to move back up stairs. We headed upstairs and then Shakhi again continued that lets try this please...please... but I was still in no mood to play it. It was not that I didn't knew how to play it but rather I was simply not in mood that day to play. Mirae understood that look on my face and said Shakhi to play something else. Now Sakhi was her best friend so even she wasn't willing to do but still she agreed to it. We were again on the table playing the same old game. This time Sanav started first after that it was my turn and it was totally a fluke but I hit the target in row three times. After me it was Mirae's turn she could not hit any target. And then it was Shakhi's turn she also hit the target two times in the row. We were now in full mood to defeat each other but in order to that the atmosphere around us had got very tense. Mirae was really feeling uncomfortable with all of us being too much involved in just a game. So now came Sanav's role, he begined with mild conversation and started talking about himself; he said he was from east. His father had a small shop on popular street in his city, his mother was a house wife and he had a younger sister who was completing her degree. Then he continued about himself more in detail and said that he had first completed his degree in zoology but he could not get job and a higher degree was required if wanted a decent job, so he left that and did some other management course. And also that he was working there as trainee and received a minimum wage. As he was from east he really did not enjoy the food there also his collogues used to treat him like an outcast. He was not fluent in their local language this was also one of the reasons for him being treated different. Listening to all of it I could totally figure out that half the stuff that he was saying was a total bluff. He was just telling us all of it so that we would give our sympathies to him. Even though I could see straight through him, deep inside me somewhere I was feeling bad for him, I don't know why but still it was something that I could not control. At that time I did not realize but maybe this was the starting where I started to get attracted towards him.
I know that how could somebody else's sad story make me feel like that but still. Very soon Shakhi was talking to him very freely as if she knew him very well and was not at all a stranger. Then he turned towards me and asked me what my favorite color was? And there I was caught daydreaming!
