"I was sent here. Was it a coincidence? Or Fate? I don't know. But, whatever world or hell that God will send at me. Whatever life or social status may he bring unto me, I will persevere and find a way back home. The journey will never perish until my last breath."

Chapter 1 - Prologue (Episode 1) - New Beginnings [1]

"Hello..? Anybody here?"

As he questioned the vast white space. He never knew how he got here, nor when he got here. He doesn't know what's going on, nor what's happening.

"Where the hell am I? And also, why am I floating..?"

"Is this astral projection? It kind of felt, and looked like it."

His body is pure black and opaque. So it Contrasts with the white space.

He thought that this was some ARG or Lucid Dreaming experience, but then, a flash of memories appeared. It was a short, yet adrenaline-inducing one.

"Shit, I need to get out of here! I hope that my mother and brother are okay. Wait... Who's my mother? do I know her? And my brother... Do I know him? I don't remember..."

He questioned himself over and over again... Minutes became Hours, Hours became Days, Days Became Weeks, and Weeks became Months. He finally had a thought.

"Alright. Let's calm down for a bit, and rest. I need to refresh my memories."

A few minutes later...

"Alright! What's your name!"

"I don't know!"

"What's your age!"

"I don't know!"

"What's your gender!"

"I don't know!"

"Ah, fuck it's not working.."

"Of course it's not, I'm alone in this shitty place"

"What should I do then?!"

"I don't know, maybe try looking around"

"I guess I could do that." He pondered to himself.

He pulled himself up and walked through the vast white space that was and is beneath and above him. It's all white with a tint of a sky-blue color.

A few hours had passed... He then sat down and waited while asking and thinking about the past. He then heard a voice in his right ear.

"Hello~~?" someone asked.

He paused, Looked, and saw another black figure. It was looking at him. Although he doesn't know what it looked like, he knows that it's a girl. Long hair, a Small body, and a rather cute voice.

He was not surprised that he was not alone, but he was surprised that there was someone. Considering that he was alone in the vast white space for a long time, the thought of someone appearing didn't cross his mind.

"Heeeyyy~~, are you daydreaming around or something?" She said. Hoping to get an answer from him.

"Uh, kind of. I was kinda surprised that someone would be here." He replied.

"The same goes for me. Oh, and by the way..."

"Yes?"

"What's your name?" She questioned

"Oh, um... I don't know." He replied

"Alright then, ill give you a name from now on" She happily said

"Pardon?" He questioned.

She sat down and thought about what kind of name to give him, while he sat down and waited for an answer since he had nothing to do. And a few minutes had gone by.

"Finally! I thought of a good name!" She shouted.

"I shall name you, Kash! What do you think?" She proudly said.

"Kash..? It sounds like a nice name. Where did it came from?" He replied

"Kash is a mythological creature in our world, simply Arkashner, the Virtuous," she said.

"Alright, Kash! Let's form a pact from now on"

"A pact?" Kash questioned.

"Yeah, a pact" she casually said like an airhead.

Silence ensued after she spoke. For his entire life, he was invited. But this is not a normal invitation, it was a pledge. He then sat and thought for some time.

This was not something that he was supposed to take part in due to socializing being draining for him, but he had no choice but to accept reality. After thinking briefly, Kash spoke.

"What would I benefit from this pact?" Kash assertively questioned

She was surprised by what Kash said. She never expect this kind of answer since she knows what type of person as soon as she laid her eyes on anyone despite it being a soul. Despite being surprised, she replied

"We will have equal benefits. No more, no less" she confidently said

Kash was relieved. There was no stuttering nor reluctance in her voice. If there were, then he would've reconsidered. After some details regarding how will the other people will benefit from one other, both of them finally agreed to form a pact.

"So, uh... How does one perform a pact though?" he curiously said.

"Just follow what I said, telling you the instruction will be a pain in the ass" she nonchalantly said.

"Uhh... Alright then" he nervously spoke.

They sat in the front right next to each other, both of their palms connected, and chant. It was a long chant that must require sheer focus and protection. They've already entered a trance state, and it's up to them whether they will accept each other as an equal partner, and a comrade.

Meanwhile, in the white void, it was showing signs of cracks. The cracks became bigger and bigger until a golden liquid gushes out of the cracks.

It was sticky and shiny. It continued to flow, and flow until it reached Kash, who was deeply immersed in a trance state.

The golden liquid tried to seep into Kash's eyes and ears, but it failed to reach him because of a restraining force holding it back. The golden liquid became violent and tried to break away from the restraining force, yet it ultimately failed. The golden liquid tried to escape, but it froze before it got out.

A man, barely in his forties, came out of nowhere and grabbed the frozen golden liquid. His face is Stern and Cold. His Eyes were Black and filled with a dreadful Aura. His Hair was Black and Wavy with a small Pigtail at the end. He was carrying a Crimson Broadsword. Its handle was a Demonic Face, and its hilt was bright as the Red Moon. He was wearing a Brown Cloak filled with Runic Alphabets, and faces of Weeping Angels. After analyzing the situation, he smiled and went on his way.

The white void repaired itself, it was back to normal again. But there are still traces of someone entering.

A few days have passed since they started forming a pact. It should've been done by now, but due to unseen circumstances, it will take a while.

Meanwhile, in their void, they share the same data. Since they're trying to form a pact, they can connect and send each other's data like a wireless connection. The void was black this time, and their souls turned white. Their data are in a form of books, those books were stored on the bookshelves. Every person will have a unique decoration, and type of book. In the center, is an unknown crystal. It can serve as an agreement when both parties have touched it at the same time.

"Huh, there's a lot of data in your void. They say that the brain of a human can store a lot of info like this, which is kinda fascinating." She surprisingly said.

As kash was browsing her data, he stumbled upon a box. It was the size of a hand and has a question mark sign on it. Kash called her to see if she has any info about the box.

"Hmm... Nope! No idea." she said.

"Then why is it here in your void? It doesn't make sense as to why you don't remember about this site--"

Before Kash could finish his sentence, she covered his mouth.

"Shh... [ It ] can hear you." She whispered.

As soon as she said that, an obnoxious roar came from the dark, and vast space before them. It was dreadfully loud. The tone was Sharp yet dry.

"What the hell was that?" he whispered

"Be quiet! If it came for us, we will be ground beef!" she said

Kash had no choice but to be quiet. He never felt death this close. He can't keep his cool. He wants questions upon questions. He tried to hold it in, but he can't. Kash asked her if she knows about that monster.

"It is a 'Distraught', it lurks and hides beyond the dark space. It likes to hunt people who are always angry, and agitated. Its roar can paralyze prey within a short span, which is enough to devour them." she whispered.

"Alright, stop the chit-chat. Let's get going," she said

Both of them rushed to the center where the crystal is at and chanted. Both of them agreed, and a blinding light came. A few seconds later, they were back in the white void, and their souls turn black.

"Whew! That was scary!" Kash shouted

"What the hell are you talking about? It's not over yet, we need to name our pact" she said

Silence again disrupted between the two as they try to come up with a name. Kash then spoke.

"What about 'Imperishable Journey' ?" Kash said.

" 'Imperishable Journey' huh... Sounds, like a good name." She said.
