When I came back to NB's home, I heard that he would leave for Dubai on the 28th for an urgent meeting. I had completely been driven up the wall. I asked him, "Are you sure?" "100%," confirmed NB. I further inquired, "Really? Sure?" He said, "I think so...99.99% sure I guess." Molly started crying hearing this but we cursed him that he wouldn't be able to go on that day how much he tries. We said, "We will win by 0.01% chance over your 99.99% surety." Although Molly was all broken, I had to bite the bullet to glue my courage pieces together and I got exuberant.
I decided to organize a show and steal it to keep NB's eyes all on me. Hence, I mustered up all of them in the living room. I determined to show up all of my talents to him on that day. 'Cause before going, he must know that I'm a thing to remember.
I started by singing London Boy. Molly was singing behind me. At the last line of this song, I winked at NB and he got shy and closed his eyes again with his fingers with a 32-teeth smile. His brother gave weird looks. I sang Love Story, Mean(Indicating NB's Bro), Last Christmas(As it was the next day of Christmas) and some of my originals. I sang the 1st song that I wrote for him about my crush on him. He asked me, "Who did you write this song for?" I trembled, "No one!" I didn't dare to confess my love to him. I also recited a poem that I wrote for my mother as my mom's birthday was coming up on the 31st. Mr Man In Black again inquired me, "When did you write this poem?" I proudly replied, "A couple of months ago!" The whole time I was performing, his eyes were on me and me only. Then Molly presented a solo dance. Halfway through the dance, she got nervous and she quit. My brother did mimicry of everyone including Mr Black. Everybody laughed and were in high spirits.
After all this, Molly and I went to NB's room. We clicked selfies with him on his phone and told him to send those to us. YAY! we exchanged each other's numbers indirectly. He saved my name as Raya and I saved as Mr Black. A fun-fact, Man In Black looks more handsome in candids!
My mom suddenly came in and called NB for dinner at our place the next day, 27th December. I was out of the world!
