"Ahh!!! save me... monster!! monsters are coming " said the man running towards the the team of Hunter.
And with that everyone's focus shifted on that man. he was almost around 27 and seemed like he was alone . The man screamed "Run.. Run away mons... monsters are coming".
Ducan approached the man to see if he was alright then one of the hunter Silvia said "No need to worry it is just a D- ranked dungeon. We are capable hunters and can deal with low level monsters".
As silvia said that the petrified man replied " They are not low level monsters, they were .... they were giants..they killed all of my team members.Run away if you don't wanna be dead".
Ducan with his all team members thought that the man was caught on hallucination magic and that a giant monster can't be in a D- ranked dungeon. Ducan tried to calm the man and said " It's okay we have a B level hunter here. we are gonna be fine" to put his mind on ease.
"Take this man Ducan before he goes insane " said Fillo the leader of the team.
Ducan was about take the man back one of the giant monster came behind that man and in a split second.... his body was cut half as that monster used his giant knife. The blood scattered in Ducan's face, clothes and on the ground. Ducan seeing a person died in front of him made him frightened unable to move his legs and as he stared at monster with a blank expression. When the monster was about kill Ducan. Fillo used his sword coverd with fire magic to kill that monster and grabbed Ducan and ran towards the entry gate..
Fillo shouted " that's a giant orc he is atleast a B-ranked monster Run!!!. They all move in pack HURRY!!!!. I won't be able to handle pack of giant orc and then they all began to run.....".
They all together escapes the dungeon and Fillo contact the higher up about giant orcs in a D-ranked dungeon. Everyone in the team felt relieved as only one orc came and leader Fillo was able to killed it. As 30 min passed by Ducan stared at an open space terrified.
"Are you okay? it will be alright , you should go home for today. we will handle from here " said silvia in a low concerned voice to Ducan.
Ducan quietly stood up form the ground and without uttering a single word to Silvia went to his home. He enters a small apartment and went to take a shower to clean the blood from his body. Towel wrapped around his neck .... Ducan move toward his bed and lay down to forget all that incident and he quickly fell asleep.
Ducan opened his eyes as he heard the noise coming from all directions and found himself in an open area. Ducan thought that it was a dream and then suddenly a giant light beam striked the Earth that's when the ground begun to move as if it was a natural disaster then all of a sudden the whole world got covered in darkness but then Ducan noticed a spark of light and moved towards it. As he came close to the light a mystical being appeared before him . He was a man with one horned in his forehead and one white feathered wing in his left side. He did not have horns on both sides nor had wings on both.
"Who are you? what is that thing I saw ?" said Ducan in a panicked voice.
That mystical being answered "Child , my name Etheus and I know you have alot you want to ask about and I promise I will tell you everything but I don't have enough power to be in this form so I won't be able to say much but remember. After you woke up you need to get that power in order to save your family and humanity".
As Etheus said that he began to explain everything about that power and what is going to happen in future and after that Ducan wakes up. Ducan looked around everywhere and shouted calling his name Etheus!! Etheus!! but Etheus was nowhere to be found.
At that time Ducan's sister Mia had came form school .she kicked the door of Ducan's room and opened it " Brother why are you shouting like that because of you neighbors are complaining " said Mia.
Ducan replied with a awkward face " but aren't you the one who is causing a loud sound by kicking the door ". As soon as he said that Mia uses her water magic to stike at him but their mother came in between those two and stop Mia from using her magic and continued to nag them....
After awhile they were freed and Ducan returned to his room and moved the chair to the right side and continued yo think about what Etheus had said. As he remembered Etheus said to get that power you need to clear a dungeon and that power can only be wielded by me and no other and with that Ducan continued to remember what Etheus said after that.
