Chapter 42 - Russia is Guilty

A Special forces team was launched from Arcadia inside of a Stealth Pelican from the Border's of the Chinese Empire.

The Pelican had all of the equipment that the soldier's needed to perform their mission inside of enemy territory.

The one to lead this mission was Commander Ulgrim of the Arcadian Special forces. With him was his team which had the Callsign Alpha 1.

On board the Pelican as the approached the landing zone the Pilot had informed Commander Ulgrim.

"ETA 10 minutes till we land Gentlemen" Said the Pilot" As he looked back at the Team and confirmed that they heard him.

Commander Ulgrim stood up "Alright men let's get ready to carry our mission, Remember we are here to gather information on the whereabouts of our citizens and we are ordered to use whatever means we can. The Government said to leave the Politics to them and just get the mission done" Said Commander

"So what are the rules of engagement Sir" Asked one of the soldiers whose call sign was Alpha 1-2

"The ROE are what we make them to be, His majesty has given us permission to utilize every means to get the citizens back, And if we find out that they are being experimented on then we are to neutralize the research lab by calling in an airstrike" Explained Commander Ulgrim.

The other team members didn't ask anymore questions and just prepared for the mission.

About 10 minutes later the Pelican had landed somewhere near Central Russia. Central Russia was not the middle of the Russian Territory but it was the place where most of the Russian's lived.

The Russians named their various military districts differently from the rest of the world, mainly because while Russia had large amounts of territory most of it was uninhabitable.

But back to the Special ops team. Command Ulgrim was the first one off as he aimed his gun at the surrounding area while his team exited the Pelican and formed a perimeter. Once they were all out the Pilot closed the doors and said over the Radio.

"Good luck out their gentlemen, I'll be on standby ready to extract you as soon as your ready" Said the Pilot.

"Copy that" Replied Commander Ulgrim as he motioned his hand forward telling his team to move.

And for a few hours they maneuvered through the Night as they approached the first location of the missing person which was in a small town located a little far from the closest Russian City.

The town only had a population of around 5k people.

Commander Ulgrim and his team entered the Town and approached the location where the Demon was last reported to be.

As Commander Ulgrim and his team moved through the desolate town, they noticed a heavy sense of unease hanging in the air. The silence was deafening, broken only by the distant howling of wind through empty streets. The buildings stood like silent sentinels, their windows shattered, their doors barely hanging on their hinges.

Alpha 1-2, his senses heightened, scanned the surroundings with his keen eyes. There was a faint scent in the air, something sinister that sent shivers down his spine. He signaled to Commander Ulgrim and pointed towards an old abandoned factory on the outskirts of town.

Commander Ulgrim nodded, understanding the urgency conveyed through Alpha 1-2's alertness. The team carefully made their way towards the factory, moving with precision and stealth. As they approached the entrance, they noticed a flickering light cutting through the darkness from within.

They took cover behind decaying crates and listened intently, trying to discern any sign of movement or activity.

The flickering light grew brighter, casting eerie shadows on the crumbling walls of the factory. Alpha 1-3, a skilled hacker, accessed the surveillance system and tapped into the cameras inside the building. The grainy footage revealed a group of armed individuals clad in black, their faces concealed by masks. They seemed to be conducting some sort of experiment on a group of haggard-looking civilians, who were chained to the walls.

Commander Ulgrim studied the footage closely, his jaw clenching with determination. This was beyond what they had anticipated. The citizens weren't just missing; they were being subjected to brutal experiments. His duty was clear - neutralize the research lab and save as many lives as possible.

"Alpha team, we have a change of plans," Commander Ulgrim whispered into his comm device, his voice filled with urgency. "We need to take down that lab and evacuate those civilians. Be prepared for heavy resistance."

His team nodded in unison, their eyes shining

with a fierce determination. They knew the stakes were high, but their unwavering loyalty to their mission and their duty pushed them forward.

Silently, they moved closer to the factory, taking advantage of the cover provided by the darkness. With each step, their hearts pounded in anticipation, adrenaline coursing through their veins. They were soldiers, trained to face danger head-on, but even they couldn't deny the gravity of the situation before them.

As they reached the entrance of the factory, Alpha 1-4, a skilled demolitions expert, carefully planted explosive charges on key structural points. Their plan was to create chaos and confusion, buying enough time for the team to rescue the captives and eliminate any threats.

Commander Ulgrim's voice crackled over the comm device once again, breaking the tense silence. "Execute in 3...2...1." The explosion ripped through the night, sending shards of metal and debris flying in all directions. The sound reverberated through the

empty streets, masking their approach and disorienting the enemy.

Taking advantage of the chaos, Commander Ulgrim and his team stormed into the factory. The armed individuals clad in black were caught off guard, their masks now shattered from the explosion. Gunfire erupted as bullets whizzed past, filling the air with deadly intent.

Alpha 1-2 swiftly incapacitated two guards with his precise marksmanship, while Alpha 1-3 utilized his skills to hack into the security system and disable any reinforcements. Alpha 1-4 charged forward, using his brute strength to take down anyone in his path.

Commander Ulgrim, a seasoned leader, coordinated their movements with military precision. He moved with grace and agility, his years of training honed to perfection. His gun roared with each pull of the trigger, mowing down anyone foolish enough to stand in his way.

As they made their way deeper into the factory, they encountered more captives chained to the walls. The civilians

looked at them with wide, fearful eyes, their hope rekindled by the sudden arrival of the Special Forces team. Commander Ulgrim's heart ached for them, his resolve strengthening with each desperate gaze.

"Alpha team, we need to evacuate these civilians immediately," he commanded, his voice firm but filled with compassion. "Alpha 1-3, free them from their restraints. Alpha 1-4, ensure they're safely escorted out of here. The rest of us will secure the perimeter and neutralize any remaining threats."

His team sprang into action, their movements precise and efficient. Alpha 1-3 swiftly moved from captive to captive, using his expertise to unlock their chains, offering words of reassurance and comfort. Alpha 1-4 formed a protective shield around them, ushering them towards the exit with a quiet strength.

Meanwhile, Commander Ulgrim and Alpha 1-2 continued further into the labyrinthine corridors of the factory. Gunfire echoed through

the halls, the smoke of battle obscuring their vision. The enemy forces put up a fierce resistance, their determination matching that of the Special Ops team. But Commander Ulgrim and Alpha 1-2 were relentless, their training and experience guiding their every move.

With each enemy soldier they encountered, they swiftly dispatched them, moving fluidly between cover and advancing with calculated precision. The sounds of gunfire were accompanied by the screams of the wounded and the panicked shouts of those still trapped within the factory. It was a symphony of chaos and desperation, a battle for the freedom and lives of innocent civilians.

As they reached the heart of the research lab, they discovered something far more sinister than they could have ever imagined. Rows of caged subjects lined the walls, their bodies distorted by grotesque experiments. Tubes connected to their bodies drained them of life, feeding into machines that whirred with sickening purpose.

Commander Ulgrim's grip tightened on his weapon as rage surged through his veins. Meanwhile outside of the facility 3 Arcadian Pelicans had came to pick up the rescued Civilians and drop off reinforcements.
