Chapter 22 - The End of the War

Even with the involvement of the rebellious Demon's, the Japanese Empire has still been pushed back beyond the Korean Border.

The Imperial knight's along with Alena was more than enough to push back those Demon's who decided to help the Japanese Empire.

Along with the Manchukuo army, the Arcadian army had taken little casualties from the war only reaching about 2,400 casualties in the fight against the Republic of Korea.

The Manchukuo casualties have greatly diminished since the Arcadian forces came to their aid and the Morale among them were at an all time high.

On the other front's against the Republic of China and the Mengjiang United Autonomous Government the Manchukuo forces along with the Arcadian forces were holding the line and not advancing.

They were told only to hold off the enemies until the Japanese Front is dealt with. The soldier's from the Republic of China side were not that much motivates and their Morale was low.

News of the proclamation of the Manchukuo army with a legitimate Chinese Emperor had made some of the other Chinese countries waver in their war against the Manchukuo Empire.

And the fact that the Manchukuo Empire was winning the war only made the other subjects re-think what they should since the Japanese Empire have already lost more than 150k men.

But at the same time most of the high ranking people in the Republic of China were loyal to the Japanese Empire leaving only a small few who wanted a better future for the Chinese Empire.

Meanwhile the Russian Federation had started to send some weapon's to the Republic of China since they didn't want to see a United China as that would only create a problem for them in their Eastern Region.

A United China would conflict with their interest in that region and a potential Rival.

No matter how much President Nikolay wanted to be an ally to the Arcadian Empire, he also can't let his country's interest be threatened in that region.

Of course he won't directly help them but instead just send them some weapon's to influence the battle.

But after weeks of battle that proved to be not working. The Manchukuo Empire was still holding and the Republic of China was not making any progress.

1 Month later

The war was still going on between the Manchukuo Empire and the Japanese Empire, but that might change as the Japanese Empire has lost the entirety of Korea which has collapsed after being completely take over by Manchukuo and Arcadian troops.

The Japanese Empire has sued for peace and requested an armistice. Jarvis accepted the armistice and negotiations would take place in Kyoto.

Jarvis accepted the meeting to take place in Kyoto because there was nothing that the Japanese Empire could do that would harm him during his visit to the state.

And they wouldn't try anything since it would hurt their reputation as a Major Power.

Plus Jarvis also wanted to lure the Rebellious demon's out of hiding by visiting the Japanese Empire. He hoped that they would try to attack him so that he can capture them and question them.

Then after questioning instead of giving them a quick death Jarvis would use them for Human experiments.

Meanwhile the other Major power's of the world was compiling all the report's that they had received from the War between the Empire and the Japanese.

And none of them like the results. From the report's it was showed that the Empire had technology that was decades or even centuries ahead of it's time. And the fact that they had about 600k something troops in Manchukuo shows that they have a much bigger army than they originally thought.

The President of the US specifically was very intrigued about this information as he was talking to the Minister of Defense "So do you think we can copy this tech and improve it" Asked President Ford

The Minister of Defense, General Johnson, raised a brow at the question. "Well, Mr. President, it's not as simple as copying and improving. We don't know the extent of their technology, how it was developed, or what materials were used. And even if we did manage to replicate it, we would still need to train our soldiers to use it effectively."

President Ford nodded in understanding. "Yes, I see your point. But we can't just ignore this. We need to find a way to catch up or even surpass their technology. We can't let them be the only ones with such advanced weaponry."

General Johnson leaned forward in his seat. "Of course, Mr. President. I have already assembled a team of experts to analyze the reports and try to reverse engineer the technology. We will do everything in our power to catch up."

President Ford nodded again, satisfied with the response. "Good. Keep me updated on any progress. We need to make sure that we stay ahead of any potential threats."
