Before she could look behind and see who was it.
She sensed an attack coming toward her.
It was a red-coloured laser sphere.
She was barely able to dodge it.
She jumped just before it was to hit her because of this her landing was quite shaky.
As soon as she landed two demons came toward and grabbed her hand,
And in no time another one came and kicked her in the guts and sent her flying.
Who are they? , why did they attack her?
She had no idea.
She crashed and laid down for a while before she could get up.
One of the three demons who had persuaded her said " I think she is down boss ".
" I do not think so " a voice came from behind,
It was strange because no one beside them was visible.
The voice came out of thin air.
The three of them heard the voice and saw that Cleo was getting back up.
She stood up, adjusted her glasses and said " you can come out now!".
Cleo almost screamed.
The next moment she quickly face the palm of her hand toward them and launched a blue laser beam toward them.
The beam was not too thick and wide,
But it was really fast.
In an instant, it slashed the bodies of those three demons standing facing her,
They did not even have time to respond to her words.
Her attack did not stop at those three,
It went on and poked a hole in thin air.
" so there you are, " Cleo said with a bright and slightly triumphant smile.
She then disrupted her attack.
Slowly the hole she poked into nowhere widened.
It was a hiding cloak that was being used by some other demons,
They were the ones commanding those three demons.
They were a lot stronger than those pawns they send to fight.
Kleo immediately recognised them.
They were a group of demons that Cleo clashed with very often.
But they were pretty high level and these kinds of demons do not roam the streets,
Especially in groups.
"Then what they were doing here?" These thoughts were going up and down in Cleo's head.
The only possible explanation was that they saw regem and her fighting and decided to come and kill Cleo.
" Well, it is no big deal " Cleo talked to herself in her head.
The only thing she had to do was deal with them as well.
It was possible because she was stronger than the five of them combined.
