My sleep was peaceful but broken.
I wake up in the middle of the night and find that we are everything in a tangle of limbs. We went to sleep apart from each other. I would have sworn that we were at least a foot apart from each other when we slept. The moonlight is drifting in, swaying itself into the break of the window panes and it lulls me into a peaceful coma of just staring at the piece of the night sky that is visible from my spot on the bed. And everything is so heated. And I feel warm to the heart, and I can't move. I can't move yet I feel so full, so content as I peek my head up. Elian is beside me, his breath a calm tandem of ups and downs. I can feel the movement of his chest on my back as I am tucked into the curve of his body as he curls in around me, a large heavy heap of a male right beside me with his body radiating heat like never before.
