"Hm," Elian's nose twitches as my lingering on his face tickles under his breath. I jump into realization, pulling my hand away but it's too late as his tranquil sleep is already disturbed by my needless touch. His nose scrunches up in a way that I strangely found cute, and then his whole face is marred with a frown as his eyes break open finally. He has woken up.
"Adian?" He groans in his sleeping gruff voice and my stomach somersaults in heavy circles. His grey shirt he changed out into is wrinkled heavily around his chest as he grunts, sitting up with one eye still shut at the light coming in from the door just a few feet away from my bed. I bite back a smile as I watch him adjust himself awake from the deep sleep he must have fallen into while watching me.
