The little chug of water I did made me feel significantly better immediately. I feel more energized and rejuvenated now that something had filled my stomach up. I feel a strange warmth emanating from my stomach and a renewed sense of energy. I can hear a scurry of maids out of my room and Maria is peering over at me worriedly, and I want to say it's okay but right now, all I have is a weak voice that can be heard centimeters from my face.
If anyone it is that we are talking about, Elian looks absolutely flustered with worry as he fusses over me, towering above my sleeping figure with a worried gaze.
"Do you need more pillows? Is it not comfortable to lay down?" He asks, nudging his palm to my forehead for the fifth time this morning.
"Hmm, it's alright," I mumble, shifting and checking if I really am comfortable with my position. It's okay, nothing too excessive. It's as usual, as my bed feels all the time— bouncy and soft.
