The thunder clappered like a toddler's tantrum and a brief white light painted the bedroom but disappeared as soon as it came.

The rain just wouldn't stop, would it? It felt like eons had passed since the rain started and it went on forever. It was a major convenience but not so much as the locals got used to it. But as much as one could get used to an inconvenience, it was, very much, still an inconvenience. Elian groaned as his sleep began to be broken through. Half drifting in, and out of sleep, he could hear the sound of the rain pattering against the recently renovated roof of the house. He couldn't distinguish if the rain came from his dream or if it was actually raining but he couldn't care less of it.

"Hngh." He grumbled, tossing on his bed.
