"Adian! Oh Adian! You must tell us! How is matters between you and the mister?"
Oh dear.
Call me a coward if you must but I got tired of being in the house. And being stared at by the strange man employed in the house. My fear knew no bounds after I saw the strange shadow cast over our opened door the night before. And I have never wanted to hold back Elian from going to his work. I am convinced that Alec Seward is no good man. He is frail and thin. I could win a fight over him any day but that look. Heaven, that look creeps the skin over my body like a dog trembling in fear. I can't rest in my house knowing that he is sharing the same space as I am and I can't bring this up with Elian yet.
Just not yet.
