Darkness
Pitch black darkness
That's all, nothing else.
How much time has passed…
A second, a minute, a year?
It doesn't know…
It doesn't even know if its eyes are open or closed. There is no sound here, only its consciousness. It knows it's still there because it's feeling pain.
Yes…
This burning agony inside the depth of its soul, corroding it, inch by inch. It can't move nor talk, just staying still in this eternal abyss.
Ba-boum!
It heard something, somewhere.
It doesn't understand but it's sure it heard something. It could even say that it felt it.
Like a heartbeat, surrounding it.
It's longing for it, needing it to happen again. The stirring of its soul is making the pain flare up but it doesn't even care.
Ba-boum Ba-boum
Here it is again, much stronger, much louder.
The pain is slowly fading away. Each thumping is sending chills down its soul, making it tremble in anticipation.
After an eternity of slumber, it was awakening.
Ba-boum Ba-boum Ba-boum
Eyes that should have stay close once and for all suddenly open. Warm fluids assault its iris, forcefully shutting them once more. It could feel its body submerge inside some unknown fluids.
The lack of oxygen register and the fear of drowning closely follow. Strength was slowly coming back in its arms but it need only a bit to move them around.
It is trapped inside a kind of cocoon made of flesh like skin. Pulsating red veins is running all across the surface of the cocoon, making it look like a huge beating heart. The flesh pod was in the middle of nowhere, glued on a wall inside a ravine forgotten by all but the howling wind.
A bulge in the shape of a hand appear suddenly on the surface of the skin like envelope. The membrane was thin and easily break, emptying its inside on the rocky ground. Waves of yellow pus cascade, bringing down with it a white bipedal creature, skins on bone without a shred of fat or muscle.
Arms flailing while falling from the cocoon, it hit the ground and begin to throw up huge globs of pus. Gasping for air, its lungs were burning when oxygen finally found it's way inside.
Lifting its head towards the sky, it bellow as hard as it could.
Struggling to get up, it slowly crawl out of the puddle of yellow fluid using its arms. Long black hair matted with pus reaching its lower back and black iris that seemed bottomless, one look at this thing would make many brave men turn around and flee.
Once out of the remains of the cocoon, it notice a boulder close enough to crawl to from which it try to lift itself up, but to no avail. It was too weak to get up on its feet, much less walk around. Laying there, it close its eyes and try to calm down, breathing in slowly.
The air was cold, making its body shiver uncontrollably. Taking a look around, all it could see was the dusty red ground filled with pebbles and a massive rocky wall towering over it. Following the height of the wall with its eyes, it wasn't able to see the end of the cliff due to a cloudy white smog blocking the view.
It lay down on the ground, naked and shivering for over an hour without being able to regain an ounce of energy to stand up.
It soon come to realize that it will die from the harsh weather if it stay laying there any longer. Taking one last glimpse around, it crawl its way back toward the remains of the fleshy pod where it made its earlier eruption.
The skin on its elbows is gone and bleed profusely from all the crawling when it finally made its way back inside the cocoon. The fluid inside is hot and smell worse than death, but it's keeping it warm and out of death doors. Exhausted, it wrapped itself in the flappy remains and fall asleep in the warmness of the pod.

Dark veils cover the sky and it find itself once again in a noiseless world. It couldn't move nor talk, couldn't breathe nor blink.
Somewhere in front of it, not too far without being too close, a wisp of smoke caught its attention. The wisp gradually become thinner until it disappear completely, leaving the place for looming shadows.
"Kiiilll theeemmm aaallll"
It hear something inside of its soul, faint, but strong enough to be heard. The shadow in front of it is back and getting bigger by the second, covering all it could see with its unmoving eyes.
"Killllll"
Body trembling in anticipation, feelings of bloodlust like it never felt beforehand are rising inside of him. It could feel the rage and the strenght boiling, exploding.
Then it wake up.
--------
--------
It was eating the flesh of the cocoon in a frenzy, tearing huge chunks of it with razor sharp nails before stuffing them in its oversized jaw. Rows of sharp teeth jutting out, tearing the flesh like a hot knife through butter. Red iris flashing, its upper body was covered in black rune-like symbols.
The instant it woke up, its body returned to its original form. It propelled itself up while looking around with a disgusted expression.
Letting go of the chunk of flesh it had in its hand, it dropped into the puddle of yellow fluid. Trembling, it carefully brought its finger to its mouth, plucking out a skin like fragment out of its teeth. When its eyes locked into the piece between its fingers, it gagged.
Dropping down on one knee, it heavily gagged before retching on the ground. It saw countless pieces of skin and pus flew out, making it retch some more. When it was finally done, it found out that it gained enough energy to be able to stand up and move around.
" Blearrrrrgh " Trying to speak, a muffled gurgle was the only thing that came out.
It couldn't even remember its name, much less know where it is located. Looking around once more, it began walking opposite of the wall, so coming back to this starting point wouldn't prove too difficult.
The ground was hard and dry, with a reddish hue. Small pebbles covered most of it, with bigger ones here and there. It only had to walk for around 30 minutes before standing atop of a ravine, giving it a view of barren land as far as it could see.
Closing in near the edge to look down, it knew it couldn't attempt a descent. A steep slope that went for about one thousand feet off the ground, covered with boulders, lay before it and falling would result in certain death.
Sighing, it went back to the feet of the cliff where it was born. Looking up again, it still couldn't see the end because of the fog blocking its view. Knowing it had no other possible way, it started walking along the edge of the wall to find secure footing for its preemptive ascend.
After 3 hours of trying and failing, it finally made its way through the thick fog and climbed all the way up the cliff with hands full of blisters and broken nails, some even ripped off.
Exhausted, it laid on its back to catch its breath. Back on its feet, only one word could describe its view.
Barren.
Barren with a thick white mist floating in the air.
It had to find food and a shelter quickly before collapsing in such a remote and lifeless area. Choosing a random direction, it carefully moved forward through the thick mist.
The passage through the mountains had a lot of dead ends so it wasted quite a bit of time inside that stony maze. The sun was setting when it finally found a way out. This time, vegetation covered the land in front of it. Big and old pines as far as the eye could see. Its bleeding feet were allowed a moment of peace when it set foot on the moss covered ground.
Inside the pine forest, it soon found wild berries to feed upon and did so without a care of it being poisoned or not. It wanted to find some wild game but being butt naked, with the night upon him, it was hopeless about hunting.
It gathered moss to cover its body so it wouldn't freeze to death during the night, taking time to look at its body in the meantime.
Nasty looking fingers with dried blood and broken nails, frail looking arms without a shred of muscle or fat. Body so thin you could count every rib bone on its body and skin which couldn't be more white.
Lowering its gaze, another gurgle escaped its mouth.
It was sexless…
Nothing between the legs, smooth as a marble
