Jani squirmed when her sleep was disturbed by noises coming from outside her room. The girl blinked her eyes then sat up and tried to sharpen her hearing. Jani frowned when she felt memorized by the voice of a woman who was outside her room.
Jani tore away the blanket and lowered her feet onto the floor. Jani slowly walked towards her bedroom door. Jani put her ear to the door. She frowned as Dana's voice rang in her ears. Jani bit her lip. She vaguely heard Dana's words asking if Sarah had eaten or not.
