Jani swallowed her saliva with difficulty. Jani seemed to be swallowing a stone in her throat. Her chest was beating fast. Silence ensued in the room. Only the sound of the clock's hands can now be heard in Jani's and Dana's ears, ticking slowly. Then the sound of Dana's sigh was heard right in front of Jani's ear.
"Let's get married!" Dana said calmly.
Jani stopped her activities. She lowered her hand from the top of the computer keyboard and then glanced slowly at Dana. She looked at Dana in disbelief. Jani felt a tightness in her chest. She couldn't find anything to explain to her why it was so easy for Dana to confuse her with the attitude of the man in front of her.
"Why is it so easy for you to do it?" Jani asked in a low voice.
