Dana again called her with 'you' (kamu) and not with the word 'you' (lo) like when Sarah was there. "What do you mean?" asked Jani in surprise.
(In Indonesia : 'kamu' and 'Lo' are 'you' in English)
"What is wrong with you?" Dana asked with his eyes still looking at Jani with longing eyes.
"It's just stomach acid," Jani replied, picking at the hem of her shirt.
"I guarded Sarah's feelings, sorry," Dana said quietly.
Jani smiled with her face still lowered. "You're innocent, you really should take care of your lover's heart, right? Why do you have to apologize to me?" Jani asked with tears already welling up in her eyes.
"I just can't miss our meeting this time," Dana said again.
