Don't know how long Dana had been pensive on the balcony smoking a few cigarettes. The night breeze had begun to feel on Dana's skin. Glancing at his watch, Dana took a deep breath. It was two o'clock in the morning. Dana rushed to get his flushed glass and took it to the kitchen to wash it.
Dana took a sip of water that he had taken from the refrigerator before heading to the guest room. Dana was too tired to check the contents of his cellphone, he gave up on taking his cell phone which was still charging in the living room. Dana then closed his already heavy eyes.
The air conditioner in the room made Dana tighten the blanket. Dana never knew that Jani had chosen to leave his life, maybe forever. Who knows the depths of the human heart?
