Silence fell over them when Dana didn't answer Jani's question either. One second, two seconds, three seconds. For two minutes they were silent. Only the sound of the clock on the wall could be heard in their ears. The silence made the atmosphere even colder.
"It's that hard, Dan, to answer?" Jani opened her mouth first, keeping a straight face and not turning to look at Dana.
"How long are you going to keep hesitating like this?" Dana asked back.
"I doubt?" Jani chuckled. "You that makes me doubt, everything is too gray."
"I've explained many times that I only want you, Jani," Dana answered in as calm a tone as possible.
"And you have also hurt me many times," Jani continued.
