"I really hate it when you start closing my eyes and telling me you're going to surprise me like this," Rose said now to Edward. The woman's eyes were already covered by a black cloth. Edward had carried her up the stairs but Rose had no idea where she was at this moment.
"Surprise is something that will surprise you, Rose. It's only natural that I cover your eyes like this," Edward said, sounding cheerful.
"It feels unfair because I don't know anything. I don't even know where I am because you covered my eyes since the trip out of the hospital," said Rose again. Edward's laughter sounded very low at this point.
"Your surprise will be here soon. Now you can stop walking, Rose," Edward said.
