Rose doesn't know how many times shelooked at Edward and repeatedly, the woman cursed in her heart. Rose kept grumbling in her heart about how he could seem to stay calm and preside over the meeting, even after doing so many shocking things yesterday. The woman was completely unfocused with the meeting that was going on because thoughts of Edward kept running through her head.
"Damn it!" the woman cursed softly but managed to be heard by everyone in the meeting room. Mia had nudged Rose's hand a little, to wake her up.
"I mean, dammit, all really good ideas. My team has a lot of really good ideas for all these types of homes. And we just need to get them ready, don't we?"
Several people in the room now nodded in agreement with Rose's words. Edward looked at the woman flatly and then sighed. The meeting was really boring this time, but it felt better, because he didn't have to directly focus on only Rose.
