How long had she been trapped for and what had happened to change everything. She hadn't even caught the golden angel, hadn't even seen him but it seemed as though he had come out of hiding and that was the worst mistake he could ever make. Where was Aamon? Where was James? Had they at least returned home safely and nothing had happened to them. Were they better or was this the icing to the cake?
"Are you okay over there?" she heard and turned to see a woman standing before me. dressed in battle armor. I continued to take her in until she pulled off her headgear and bent down so she could look at me at eye level. "Are you ok… Aural?" she questioned and my eyes went wide as I recognized her. "Rose," I whispered and she pulled back, scared.
