That's why I needed him so much because he was supposed to be the one that supported me and helped me hold on. Yet we were so blinded by the fears and the reports, we didn't attempt to remember our vows. All we could do was stomach our fears and tragedy.
And since it wouldn't stop it grew, just like the whispers I heard all around me, just like the stares that I could feel gaping at me as though an abomination and they all threw the first stones with their judgment, that's why I felt them all poking at me. trying to see if I would disappear and they could easily pray. Hoping that my very presence was just another ghost that haunted them, when all this ghost needed was to heal.
