That's what I needed to keep doing but I couldn't even make it far before I felt someone pulled at my ankles. Tears gathered as quickly as soldiers and fell like rain, painting her cheeks wet and announcing her frustration and pain. Why couldn't they search for him themselves and let her breathe.
