I could finally breathe in air and not feel any kind of pain in my body. Fingers, I could finally feel and move them without some sort of numbness. I could finally feel everything in my body without some sort of complication.
Tears escaped my eyes as I opened them, feeling grateful that I could finally see everything and feel everything without some sort of conviction. I let out a chuckle, this time it seemed as though I had finally escaped death.
"I know that kind of chuckle, it's the relieved one. The type that makes you feel relieved for escaping death's clutches. Aren't you lucky?!" She heard and quickly turned to see the stranger that had saved her life from the siren. This time with better light, she could finally see him in full form.
