The alarm was loud but it didn't bother her. She was already awake before it had even notified her that it was time to arise. She hadn't been able to sleep, wondering if he was really serious. Hoping that he would return because he had forgotten something but he didn't come back.
No matter how dark it got, she still watched the door, waiting and hoping.

But he didn't return and that was his decision. It brewed some kind of hate in her as she got up and shut her alarm. It brewed some kind of pain and she couldn't tell how to solve it or how to easily overlook it.
