"I have honestly missed you," she smiled and said, "I have missed you too, more than anything else in the world. More than my redemption. More than my realm. I never realized how much you had mattered to me, but again, you know what the drill is."
I nodded at her and I could sense the danger coming. I knew it was from her and I knew that she would have to do it as this was the loyalty we had sworn into. Our hearts couldn't rule us, they couldn't guide us in this case and they definitely couldn't protect us. "I love you," she whispered, "I love you too," I said and before I could feel her blade cut through me, she was ripped from my arms and thrown to the building in front of me.
