Chapter 39 - Evil Spirit

On the other side of the airport, the man was holding a long suitcase and made a call with his other hand.

"Okay, Alice, see your brother. He's doing well now. You don't have to worry anymore."

The man said in a doting tone.

"We will not pursue the matter of him taking away the Sword in the Stone. Don't worry."

After the man hung up, he said to himself with a smile,

"Weiss? Very interesting. I will let you keep the Sword in the Stone for now. I hope you can keep it."

The man disappeared from the airport with the luggage.

Weiss looked at the car Tobias had prepared and said:

"Are you serious?"

The extended Bentley and the dozens of bodyguards around made Weiss think that he was here to invest.

'That's an exaggeration, isn't it?' Weiss admitted he was sore. 'I'm nowhere near as good as Tobias.' He asked seriously.

"Does your wife have any sisters? You can introduce them to me."

Tobias only smiled wryly as he led Weiss to his car. The hotel had been arranged and a presidential suite had been prepared in Elin Hilton in Rodu.

Weiss enjoyed the tub in the presidential suite, watching the view of Rodu through the massive French Windows. Tobias stood on the side. Weiss accepted the news from Asmodeus as he idly considered the rest of the trip.

"Tobias, has anything strange happened in Rodu recently?"

Weiss turned back to Tobias.

"I don't think so. But this Elin Hilton seems to have some kind of paranormal story. I wonder if it counts."

Weiss frowned and said:

"Tell me in detail."

Tobias hurriedly replied,

"It sounds like strange crying sounds often come from the water tank on the top floor and there's the stench of corpses in the drinking water from time to time. However, after many investigations, there was no result and it was even suspended for a period of time."

Tobias said hesitantly:

"This has to do with Bunil Hilton. Apparently he doesn't want this hotel closed for too long. It's all money, after all, so he's going up and down a bit."

Weiss understood and told Tobias to get ready. He himself dressed and went with Tobias to the top floor of the hotel. With Tobias's antics, Weiss and the others soon reached the top floor.

Weiss looked at the huge water tank with a thoughtful expression.

[Evil Spirits Twining Water Box: The dead girl in the water box has been living with resentment towards men. Perhaps death is only temporary. One day, she will return to the world as an evil spirit to take revenge on that man.]

[Mission: Find the body that the girl lost in the hotel and fulfill her wish]

[Reward given according to completion]

Weiss was shocked. Was there a hidden mission here?

It seemed like a lot of money. Besides, this was the first time the system had issued a mission in real life. In any case, he wasn't in a hurry to leave. The Olympiad's collective training would last for three days. He still had a chance. He might as well give it a try.

But Weiss was having a headache. The hotel was so big. If he pushed it inch by inch, how long would it take to find it?

After pondering for a while, Weiss asked Tobias to leave first. He then used the title to make the security guard beside him fall asleep before opening the Book of Demons in his storage space.

A short and ugly demon knelt in front of Weiss. This was the weakest demon recorded in the Book of Demons. Weiss asked the demon to smell the water tank and go to the hotel to find the body of a young girl. Ordinary people could not see the demon, so they did not have to worry about scaring the guests here.

After they were done, the class teacher called and asked,

"Have you arrived in Rodu? The training teacher here is looking for you."

It was only then that Weiss remembered that today seemed to be the day to filter out the high school students from various schools. He couldn't care less and left the hotel.

On the water tank, a complicated rune flashed and the water tank revealed the appearance of a ferocious young girl. The young girl's white dress was almost dyed red and her black hair fluttered in the water.

If not for her twisted expression, the young girl's face would have been devastatingly beautiful. Coupled with her soft figure, the young girl could definitely be called a beauty. However, when her hand grabbed the glass, there was a crack in the glass. Her pained face was even more endearing but Weiss did not see it.

As soon as Weiss arrived at the venue, a serious-looking middle-aged man said to him,

"It's already been half an hour on the first day and we are late. Is this the hope of our country?"

Weiss was annoyed but he didn't argue with him. He walked over to his seat and began to finish his papers. Beside him were students from various private high schools. There were only a handful of public high schools. He could tell from the uniforms.

Weiss glanced at the question and began to deduce the result in his head. With the help of top-notch mathematics skills, Weiss's calculation and sense of number had already surpassed most mathematicians in the world. Half an hour later, Weiss walked over to the middle-aged man with the paper and handed it over.

The middle-aged man was a little surprised and didn't have any other thoughts. This set of papers was produced by the organizing committee of the United States Olympiad, so it was normal to give up. This made the middle-aged man look down on Weiss even more. He didn't have the spirit to face difficulties when learning mathematics and the fact that he was late left a bad impression on the middle-aged man.

Weiss also did not know that while communicating with Asmodeus on the way back, he already had news on his side. After Weiss completely released their power, the seven demons recovered their power by signing a contract with ordinary people.

While the middle-aged man was waiting for the others to finish their papers, he looked at Weiss's paper on the table which was filled with calculations. Weiss didn't bring any draft paper nor did he ask the middle-aged man for it.

At first he was scornful. What could he have done in such a short time? Then he took a closer look. His body began to tremble. The answers he had seen so far had been correct. Only one question remained empty.

He quickly flipped to the last question. Although he knew that it was against the rules to look through the examinees' examination papers, he was really too curious. He could not understand the process of the last question but he roughly knew that it was correct.

He knew that this boy was incredible.

Weiss wasn't sure how much shock he gave the middle-aged proctor. He walked into a bar. It was still daylight and there was only a line of black-clad bodyguards in the bar. He walked into the booth. No one stopped him.

There were two flirtatious women massaging Asmodeus and a fierce-looking man stood behind him. When he saw Weiss enter, Asmodeus told everyone who served him to leave.

Asmodeus was now much stronger than when he fought with Weiss. He still had that sloppy attitude and Weiss was used to it.
