Asmodeus said with a hint of flattery,
"Boss, I have signed a contract with one of the lower level people of the Black Deity. Should we fight our way in or sneak in?"
Weiss held his forehead. He also wanted to rush in directly but his strength didn't allow it. If he could use the low-level Gene Serum now, there would still be some hope but he did not know how long the transformation process would last.
The last brain development had almost cost him his life. If Lilith hadn't been there, he might not even exist now.
Weiss was well aware of that. With his power, he might be able to rescue Tobias's family. But if he forced his way through, he might have to face some unknown variable. And that was something Weiss didn't want to see.
"Who is guarding that place? How strong is he?"
Weiss voiced his doubts to Asmodeus. It couldn't be helped. Asmodeus seemed too unreliable.
"I haven't looked at it closely but it won't exceed my current strength, will it?"
Weiss was a little speechless. This demon is too much. He could only wait for tonight to take a look.
He stood up and instructed Asmodeus to continue increasing his strength and the Book of Demons would also become stronger.
As they walked out of the bar, Weiss exhaled and asked Tobias to prepare a car for him. He couldn't always take a taxi back.
At night, Weiss was on top of the Hilton Hotel. At that moment, the four little demons brought two hands and two legs to his side. Weiss looked at the near-rotten limbs and felt uncomfortable.
What kind of hatred would cause such a cruel dismemberment? According to the information sent by these little demons, they were found in the elevator shaft, the walls of the guest room, the hall, and the surveillance room.
Weiss thought for a moment, they still haven't found the head and torso. He would come back to find them after finishing the night work.
Weiss changed, got everything ready and took advantage of the night to leap between the gaps in the building.
Ever since Weiss knew that the Black Deity could use the military's satellites, he had asked Jarvis to keep infiltrating. The effect was not bad but Weiss had to be careful with his disguise. Asmodeus had given him the identity of the contractor.
Weiss took the opportunity to disguise himself as him. Not only that, Weiss believed that the Black Deity would know that he had arrived in Rodu, so he did not dare to slack off.
They walked to the mouth of the alley and asked Jarvis to adjust the security cameras so that it looked as if he had walked all the way from his house to this building.
The two black-clad security guards at the door saw Weiss's horse, telling him to stop. Weiss pulled out his identification.
One of the security guards asked,
"A secret code."
Weiss was stunned. No one had told him that there was such a thing as a secret signal. What should he do? Did he really have to rush in directly? Seeing Weiss remain silent, the two big men became nervous and stretched their hands behind their backs. That was where they put their guns.
Weiss leaned closer and said to them:
"Long live the Black Deity."
At the same time, he activated the Dream Immersion Device on his temple to the maximum. Then, the two security guards in black were in a trance. They instantly reacted and said to Weiss,
"Please come in."
This was a new method that Weiss thought of on the way. He used the title to make the two of them fall asleep for a short period of time and simulate the same situation. Then, he would guide the two of them and make them think that Weiss had said the most correct words before removing the dream.
This series of operations made it so that the two of them could not differentiate between reality and dream reality and would achieve Weiss's goal.
Weiss wiped his sweat as he walked to the interior of the building. The two of them were lying to Weiss and there was no secret signal at all. In the dream, Weiss only said to them:
"No secret code."
Weiss passed without a hitch and he hadn't expected the first test to be so dangerous. He might be able to kill the two of them with the Dream Immersion Device but there was no doubt that it would alert the Black Deity's inner circle and even divert Tobias's family.
Weiss followed the others into the elevator. With his current identity as a member of the Black Deity patrol team, it was also convenient for Weiss to find his target.
"What are you thinking, Dulcie? Hurry up and follow me."
A man in black shouted fiercely at Weiss.
Weiss went along and he observed their surroundings. Every room was segregated, not even a window. Dulcie was Weiss's current identity.
Weiss followed the men in black. Their patrol consisted of three people in a group. They changed shifts every five minutes. There were five teams.
In other words, Weiss had to find Tobias' family within five minutes or else he would have to wait another twenty minutes and there were some areas he couldn't go to.
Weiss thrust his hand into his pocket and stroked a small pebble. He let the little demon out. As the Book of Demons strengthened, Weiss could now see what was in the demon's eyes. Add to that the fact that the little demon basically had no temperature and he didn't have to worry about being discovered.
Weiss followed the man in black and looked around. He looked like he was doing his duty but in reality, Weiss had send the Imp all the way to investigate. He had only seen pictures of two people, so he had to see the real person before he could pretend to leave through the Book of Demons.
Then, Weiss saw someone carrying food into a room. He controlled the little demon and quickly followed him in. There was a password lock at the door of the room. If Weiss wanted to break the password lock, there was a high chance that he would be discovered. He did not have the Lucky Halo now.
Finally Weiss squeezed through the door just as it was about to close. Inside were a man in black and a haggard-looking woman. The man in black left after putting down his meal and Weiss didn't dare communicate with the woman in front of the security camera.
He recognized her. She was one of the targets of his trip, Tobias's ex-wife, Judith. Whistling on patrol, Weiss put his hand to his temple and pretended to adjust his glasses. In fact he increased the power of the Dream Immersion Device.
Judith stared blankly at the wall as if she had lost all her energy. The scene changed and he saw a man appear in front of her. He was Weiss. He had successfully pulled Judith into the dream through the modified Dream Immersion Device that had increased its power.
"I was invited by Tobias to save you. Now tell me, where is your daughter?"
Judith saw Weiss and was at first taken aback. Then she said excitedly to him:
"My daughter is at the lab. They seem to have taken a fancy to some of my daughter's abilities. They're experimenting on her now. Please, go and save her."
Judith knelt on the floor and wept. Weiss knew how she felt. He told her:
"When I find your daughter, I'll take you both with me. Now you're in a dream. I'll remove the dream later. You're going to do what you need to do. Don't let the security cameras notice anything unusual about you."
With that, Weiss left the little demon to monitor Judith while he took the other little demons to the laboratory.
