Synopsis
She woke up lying on the shore with the cold waters hugging her bare feet. The first thing she saw was the sun's strikingly beautiful rays and a pair of deep blue eyes, as deep as the oceans, as blue as hers. She tried to reach his cheeks. He smiled as he reached her palms with a warmth she once held before, but when? The next time she woke up, it was a chilly night inside a smat hut in the middle of a forest. She tried to stand but as soon as she placed her feet on the ground, she fell instantly. A loud bang on the door was heard an a tattered- clothed man came in. "Finally you're awake." "What is your name my lady?" Name? What is... my name?

Chapter 1 - Niangniang

"One! Two! Three! Pull!"

Swoosh!

"One! Two! Three! Pull!"

"One! Two! Three! Pull!"

Boom!

A loud thunderclap echoed throughout the raging sea.

The ship sailed here and there due to unusually massive waves.

The workers tried hard to maintain the balance of the ship by its sails.

Completely opposite to the troubled sea waters, a man covered with drenched blue coat stood steadily amidst the bustling crowd.

In fact his feet didn't touch the floor since the storm started to rock the ship.

Channeling his pneuma throughout the large ship to keep it intact, his brows furrowed.

He slowly made his way to the side of the ship.

Staring at the dark hue of the sea, he activated his senses.

Noticing a figure calmly staring at his dark blue eyes, his body moved involuntarily and stepped at the edge of the ship side.

SPLASH!

The men on the ship didn't notice how their master fell on the water.

Wei Liang caught himself unable to use his pneuma upon submerging himself in the water.

He struggled hard to breathe as he keep on drowning.

Cough.

He was about to lose his consciousness when a pair of glowing dainty hands reached out to him.

He raised his head only to meet a pair of glowing deep blue eyes. Her white silky hair extended beyond his sight.

Her body resembled a lady in the early twenties. There is only one difference that is notable with the young lady.

Half of her lower body resembled a tail of a white dragon, majestically floating through the darkness of the troubled sea.

Pearls and other otherwordly gems dangling all around her whole being.

The scales on her tail illuminated the space between them.

She smiled.

Wei Liang froze.

The lady opened her mouth, seemingly saying something incomprehensible to him.

The lady then lifted him up on the surface of the water.

Surprisingly, the storm was almost over when they reached the surface.

He was able to breathe again, perfectly as if drowning didn't happen at all.

His eyes never left the woman.

Her skin was as white as the purest pearl.

Eyes sparkling like the sea during noon time.

"May I know your-"

The woman place her palms on his cheeks, leaned and landed her lips on his.

He's warm…

She's cold…

Wei Liang closed his eyes.

The last thing he can remember is a whisper lingering in his ears,

Niangniang
