It had taken us a few hours in which to reach a place to rest. Along the way, I started to feel hungry as my stomach announced as we arrived at a place to rest. It was a house of sorts, made from clay with open windows, the door was made from wood. Inside was a bit untidy as if someone was living there but had no time to clean up, he disappeared. He told me he was going to hunt and to my disbelief, he transformed before my very eyes into a beautiful white tiger. I thought I had a dream it turned out that this was not a dream. I am no longer where I was from, I was scared but not when I was with him it was very different like I could rely on him.
Meanwhile Arian was cooling off in a nearby lake "I've got to calm down, she's probably scared right now I should take my kill back to her and get her to eat something".
Back at the house, I'd exhausted myself tidying up what looked like a place to sleep, my eyes started to feel very heavy, finding it harder and harder to keep my eyes open I fall asleep on what looked like animal furs.
To disbelief Arian came back to find me asleep on his bed, he quietly walks back out of the room to another where he started a fire.
I awoke a few hours later to the smell of roasted meat.." Mmm smells good" as I found myself slowly getting up from my nap, towards the room where the smell was coming from, to find Arian by the fire seasoning the meat with what looks like spices. I announced my arrival with the slight hum of a song I learned from, one of my favourite books. To my disbelief, he hummed along with me.
I thought to myself "huh but that's from one of my favourite books, The Animal Kingdom. The realisation had finally hit me. I'm inside my favourite book." A shroud of dread had hit me without a thought I fell to the ground in my realisation.
This can't be happening I'm inside of a book. Arian was by my side in confusion he wanted to know what was happening, he knelt down beside me, in shock he saw tears running down my cheeks. Instead of asking what was wrong he openly offered a hug. When I saw what he was doing I instantly felt drawn to him as if it was fate that we had met, I fell into his warm hold.
