''Since WST is your 'Backyard', why don't you all make use of it and run a few rounds.'' Coach Taylor said with a smiling face but that smile showed no gentleness. Instead, it clearly expressed the will to torture someone.
How could these brats say that WST is the backyard they can come and go whenever they like? Who does they think he is? Is he a joke?
Now, if the members heard his thoughts, they would surely murmur, ''Yes you are.''
Though unwilling, the group of girls started running around the court.
Dressed in different colours, the squad of running girls looked quite pleasing to the eyes. Not because they were all drop dead gorgeous but because they all had that confidence and sweetness about them that made them look harmonious and happy.
Afterall, no one would be able to tell that they were fulfilling their punishment at the moment because everyone was looking quite relaxed and that bright smile made them seem like they were playing around instead.
''Coach, we are done.''
The girls said, tired out completely. All of them were either crouching or already sitting on the floor.
''Oh... Is that so?''
Hearing that tone, they knew that the matter is not over yet. But what could they do other than grit their guts and answer?
''Yes Coach.''
''Then tell me. How did you know V's staying here? Before you make up random excuses, keep in mind that I also found the news about a few hours ago. And no, I didn't tell anyone about it. Now tell me, since when did you all know?''
''I... We...'' The girls suttered as they looked at eachother only to see the fear in their own eyes being reflected in the other's.
''We actually knew it for the past year.'' Skylar admitted a little awkwardly but then changed her tone to that of a fun loving one as she continued, ''You know, our age group can find any information we want through connections and internet so finding her wasn't too much of a problem. We just wanted to give her the space she wanted. Hehe...''
''You brats, run another fifty laps. NOW.''
And so the group had to run for another fifty laps without complaining because they knew that complaining would only land them into more troubles.
Sigh... it really is hard to carry out friendship. Really really hard. It's too exhausting, to be truly honest. But it's really worth it as well.
