On the other side, Lyle wasn't all too lucky either.
He never took gossiping too seriously so he didn't know what had happened. Therefore, those weird looks filled with sympathy and sadness confused him quite a lot.
Some had even walked up to him and said, ''Not everyone is the same. So what if you lost. You still have an ocean to choose from. Don't always be stuck on a single fish.''
Those words had made Lyle's brain go haywire.
'What on Earth is happening?'
Only when he entered his class and met Owen did he finally understand what was going on.
''Damn, it's not like that dude. He'' Lyle said pointing to Avi in the picture, ''is Avi, Ivy's twin. He had come here to meet her over the weekend and they had spent time together before he left.''
''How do you know that it's true. I mean-"
''I know it's true because when he came here, I met him. We even had dinner together. How could I not know what's going on.''
''So he really is her twin. That too of the same parents?''
''Yes. And before you ask about their hair, let me tell you because I also had to clarify it when I saw them. They took their parents hair each. Ivy got their dad's while Avi took after their mom.''
''So that was a whole lot of misunderstanding?''
''Or what. Why do you even blow up such stuffs? I really can't understand how such small things which could have been solved if you had asked made you so active. Like really? You just played on this what's the name again?''
''Of who?''
''You... that's why you were played. This 'Lotus' really played the tune well that you were forced to dance on it unknowingly.''
''Hey, that's not good to talk about someone like that. Why would someone even want to-"
''Read the comments well. After this person posted, there weren't much hate comments. Some even thought they looked perfect together. But this 'Lotus' person showed up again bringing the topic back to me and Ivy making it seem like she played me. To be more precise, lets put it this way. Even of Avi was really her boyfriend, which he isn't, but 'if' he was, what's wrong with that? It's not like just because someone likes her, she has to be with that person. She has her own right to choose. It's not wrong for her to stay in a relationship with someone she likes. Why did you even think it that way? Isn't it obvious that this Lotus's post swinged your mind in that direction? Gotta admit. This person is one brilliant pied piper.'' After Lyle said his piece, he took his book and left the class leaving behind a bunch of enlightened rats.
