Chapter 4 - 4. Yes. Yes!

Lyle was standing right behind Ivy and with him bending a little right behind her delivered those words right in her ear.

''Fuck...'' Ivy cursed as he coverd her ear in a rush. That was creepy.

''Hey, you might want to tone it down or your image would be ruined.''

'Oh God. He didn't hear that. He didn't. What should I do? Damn it. He was too close to my liking so I couldn't help it. It was a reflex God damn it.'

Though she panicked on the inside, she still managed to keep on a calm face safe that red ear and flushed cheeks.

''Uh... what should I tone down? I didn't even say anything.''

Lyle felt surprised at the way this girl didn't even own it up. She acted so very naturally that he even started to think whether he heard it right. But yesterday's incident helped him calm his mind and beleive that what he heard was definitely what she said.

This wild kitten was a good actress.

''You know, it's a waste you didn't join acting.''

He totally heard it.

Ivy was freaking out thinking about how to salvage the situation when a hand wrapped around Lyle's shoulder and a head popped out from behind.

''He meant 'we'. Can 'we' join your group?'' The boy who just arrived had black hair in an undercut hair style. With that cute fair skin and large eyes, he could totally go for being an idol.

Feeling thankful to this God sent person, Ivy immediately replied to him in her signature voice, that soft, stuttering kind of voice, ''W-we didn't form a t-team yet. You might wa-want to join a-another group.''

''Well then, we can now. We got people from both classes and also both the genders. It's perfect for a team.''

''Hey, are you bullying my Ivy?'' Sam said as she moved beside Ivy.

''You better forget that, hmm?'' There was a kind of threat in Jake's voice.

''No. They... they just wanted to team up with us.'' Ivy said as she held Sam's arm with both her hands.

'What a little actress. If I didn't see the scene yesterday, I really would have doubted my ears just then.' Lyle thought as he watched the girl act so naturally and flawlessly.

''Huh...''

''Huh...''

Both Sam and Jake echoed eachother. It was at this moment that Sam actually looked clearly at whom she was confronting before.

''Ah... It's Lyle. Lyle Wilson. Oh God, yes. Yes!'' Sam shouted while Jake grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

''It's not like he is asking you to marry him. What's with all these yeses.'' Jake felt uncomfortable in his heart at seeing her smile so widely and say yes so happily.

''What do you know? If he had asked to marry me, I would have died of happiness.'' Sam said still not believing it. ''That's Lyle. Lyle Wilson. The dream of every girl in West High.''

Lyle, who was just standing infront of her couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. His eyes couldn't help from moving towards the girl who was looking at her friend with a look of uncertainty. Her eyes clearly screamed 'What the hell!'

Looking at the little actress, Lyle had a small gentle smile on his face making him change from being that unapproachable cold prince to a warm teenager.
