Chapter 13 - Second half

Hito brought lunch for them and let them relax for a little bit and was yet again watching them struggle.

"Huuaaa!" Brutus yelled as he created a growing vine from his double circle.

"Very good Brutus! You are really a nice person to work hard for Faul,"

"You should always work hard, teacher," he said and looked down at Faul.

"What? Shut up! You were not under pressure!" Faul said sweating profoundly.

"No, you are just not used to give it your all," Brutus responded and crossed his arms.

"What?"

"I will stay here until you finish! You can do it!"

"Shut up, you brute!" Faul snapped at him, but Brutus didn't budge.

"Then tell me how you did it,"

"Instinct!"

"Useless!" Faul shouted.

"Please shut up!" Eve yelled and Anna looked away.

"Leave me be!" they start to argue.

"Now, now, everybody calm down!" Hito raised his voice and stood up, but at that moment Eve fall down on her butt as a handful of snow shout from her hands. Hito came closer and kneeled.

"Very good, Eve!"

"Oh thank god!" she said and laughed, making everybody calm a little and so they continued working. However, the evening was slowly approaching.

"Ah!" suddenly Harry was holding a flaming branch. He quickly dropped it and Hito put out the fire.

"Be careful next time, but you can leave!" only minutes later Hito was again interrupted from his read.

"I did it!" yelled Faul and fall on his back. He was holding a stone, covered in black shadow.

"Took you long enough," Brutus said and stretched.

"Shut up! I am so god damn tired!" Faul said while laying on the ground.

"Catch your breath, you lost a lot of stamina. The last thing I need is you passing out on the way to the school," Hito said to him.

"Well, I wouldn't want to inconvenient you, sir," he said with obvious sarcasm, but Hito ignored him.

"Well, I don't want to spend the night here, I can give you something!" Hito looked at the remaining students. They looked at him with relief and surprise.

"Mob is the closest to finish," he simply said. Making Anala vividly angry and she finally exploded in flames. Well her hair did. At that moment she created a giant flame from her circle and shouted it in the air. Everybody fell down while the fire died out.

"Impressive, but I said to make it from a different dimension than a flame, didn't I?" he said and put her hair out using a strong breeze of air. She put her hands out and created flame again, but this time it was black and small in comparison to the one from a second ago and died right away. Hito came closer to her and caught her, as she passed out.

"Is she okay?" Anna yelled, but Hito glared at her. She put her hands on her mouth, but it was too late.

"You failed. Even If you finish the spell you cannot speak with people for a week," he said and then looked at Anala. "She is just tired," he said and laid her on the grass.

"I...I finished," Mob raised his hand and showed a handful of wet sand.

"Great timing, please take her to her room,"

"Y-Yes..." he said surprised and kneeled next to her. "Ehh..." he looked at Brutus and Faul who were about to leave. Brutus was about to step to help Mob, but Hito ignored him and looked at Mob.

"Use a spell, you are an apprentice, arent you?"

"Yes!" Mob said and created a small cloud and Hito placed Anala onto it. Then Mob slowly moved the cloud towards the school, together with others.

Hito then looked at the last students and sight. Anna looked at him in defeat and he came close to her.

"Don't think about anything else, I will allow you to speak with me, If you finish the spell in an hour," he tried to help her, but even he was surprised that she laughed before he could sit on his chair again.

"I did it!" she said and a small gust of wind raised the dirt around her.

"Well, that leaves only you, Emelin,"

"What are you saying? I am not the only one here!" she said and pointed out Lajla, who was sitting on the ground.

"Lajla?" Hito said and kneeled to her, as he did, she revealed a small glass with glowing light inside of it.

"I made it!" she smiled at him and he looked at her with wide-open eyes.

"That is surprisingly impressive! Very good!" he said and Emelin couldn't believe her ears.

"What is that look? This is what you get from not working hard as the rest. Expecting you will not fail because others are inherently worst than you? How naive! I specifically made it so you have no other motivation than others and you sadly completely fulfilled my expectation!" Hito came closer to her.

"Look at Harry who had the same condition as you, he didn't even have to care about the fail, and yet he finished much sooner. Look at Brutus, whose only motivation was to not screw with Faul!"

"What are you trying to say? That you made this specifically for me to fail?"

"I made it so everybody learns something. It looks like most of them did, so now it's time for your lesson! Until you can do a double spell, you will give me an essay for every class. Five pages about a dimension of your choosing every class. Now go!"
