After we left Hudson's office, we got in the truck and drove over to the sports complex. This was a place that had lots of different games that we could play. There were batting cages, one on one, two on two, and more for basketball games, a shootout challenge for soccer, a throwing challenge for football and baseball, and more. They had less conventional sports too. There was bowling, darts, billiards, air hockey, foosball and table tennis. It was a great place to go and have fun if you were active. You could even go rock climbing and swimming. There was so much that I wanted to do that I doubted that we would be able to get to it all in one go.
"What do you want to do first?" I asked Hudson as we looked at the board of options.
"That is up to you, Ocean. We're here to spend time together and I want my son to pick one." He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and squeezed me in a hug.
