The Judge waited until Theo was sitting in his chair and facing him before he spoke.
"Salazeer, the witness is yours. Begin your cross examination." It was now time for that snake looking lawyer to talk to me. I didn't like him. He gave me a bad feeling just like Tide did. And I had a feeling that the lawyer and Tide knew each other. This wasn't just a client and lawyer situation. This was a friend helping out a friend.
"Now, Ocean, that is quite the tale that you are spinning here." Salazeer looked at me with contempt and disgust in his eye. "But we both know that it is a lie. You sought out my client, didn't you? You wanted to have sex with him, but you got cold feet when your husband caught you cheating."
"No. That is not true. I never wanted to sleep with Tide. I was disgusted the moment that he touched me because the only one that I want is Makai."
