Ocean
~~
I awoke the next morning with Makai's arms still wrapped around me. I also found that this was the first night in two weeks that I hadn't had a nightmare about what had happened in the ocean that last time. I have now spent three nights in the water, and two of them were so traumatic for me that I didn't want to be here right now. Hopefully I could get over it soon, but I wasn't all that hopeful about it. These memories were going to be a part of me forever now, and that was never going to change.
Makai and I got up and started to get dressed. I was perplexed a little as I looked around the room. I knew that I was in the water. I could feel it and smell it all around me. However, for some reason my hair was dry. When I found my clothes that had been thrown to the floor last night, they were dry as well.
"Makai, why are our clothes dry?"
