So, maybe blindly walking and swimming through the ocean as I stared at a massive structure in the distance was not the right way to go about this. And, oddly enough, it took a pile of pearls on the bottom of the ocean to make me realize that. Not only would I possibly miss someone or something coming at me if I was hyper focused on the distance, but I would also miss this magical moment of being here in this place with Makai.
"You know what, Makai, I think we should have come here for our honeymoon. It's amazing being down here." I couldn't stop myself from saying that. It was the truth after all.
"Well, maybe we will go on a second honeymoon for our second wedding anniversary." I heard the suggestive tones in his voice and was just happy that he was open to the idea.
