I had thought that we were done with everything for the night. I mean, we would be talking, hanging out with family, and pigging out on leftover ham, turkey, and pumpkin pie. That was what I thought the rest of the night was going to entail for us. This though, I was not expecting.
There was a fire roaring in the fireplace. Christmas carols were playing in the background. Splash was sleeping in the corner while Alliver slept on the couch next to Rachel. We were all sipping post dinner hot cocoa when Ben stood up and looked at everyone.
Seeing that his husband was about to make an announcement, Ryan smiled at him and stood by his side. Apparently, whatever was going on, they both knew what it was and were going to be explaining things to us.
"C..can I have everyone's attention please?" Ben looked nervous about something. It was making me nervous. I didn't know what was going on or why he would feel nervous in front of us all.
